More than a dozen Republican lawmakers supported stimulus-funding requests submitted to the Department of Labor, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Forest Service, in letters obtained by The Wall Street Journal through the Freedom of Information Act. The stimulus package passed last February with no Republican votes in the House of Representatives.

So what? It's his constituents that will share in the repayment of the money. May as well try to get some of it directed towards them. You guys act like everything in politics is either black or white, sometimes. Geez....it's not like it wasn't going to pass.

So, are you saying that the taxpayers living in the districts which refuse any stimulus money will be exempt from having their taxes used on the stimulus bill? You guys do understand that the government doesn't actually own the money, they merely commandeer it to play politics with, right?

I recognize rank hypocrisy when I see it, and so does everyone else.

1/3 of Minnesota's budget is coming from the stimulus. As we all know Tim Pawlenty HATES the stimulus. Go figure...

So rethugs basically took the stimulus money and then voted and railed against it to placate their base?

That about it?

Wow. Talk about "having yer cake and eating it too".
