For some reason, we think that fighting a war means winning the hearts and minds of enemy civilians. If our reasons to be at war were great enough, we would give a shit what enemy civilians think. We had plenty of reason to go to war with Afgahnistan but the Bushies even fucked that up with their hearts and minds nonsense.
