I can't wait for March Madness.

In South Carolina, "subversives" who think government is corrupt and should be controlled by the people face 10 years in prison and a $25,000 dollar fine if they fail to register with authorities. Another example of how free speech and dissent is being criminalized in America.

The state's "Subversive Activities Registration Act" is now officially on the books mandating:

Every member of a subversive organization, or an organization subject to foreign control, every foreign agent and every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States shall register with the Secretary of State.

every person who advocates, teaches, advises or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States shall register with the Secretary of State.

Did Mayor Mooseville stop there in 2008? Did she register?

'Reality' Show Lets You Decide If Stars Get an Abortion

A new web show called "BUMP+" is stirring up controversy and conversation about abortion. It's a "fake" reality show in which three actresses portray women facing unintended pregnancies. These characters, entirely fictional, have agreed to appear on a reality TV show and let the public weigh in on what they should do about their pregnancies: keep it, terminate it, adoption? The creators of the web series say they will pick what happens to "contestants'" pregnancies based on viewer response. Beyond the controversy, it seeks to, in the words of its creators, spark an honest, Obama-style "common ground" dialogue about the choice based on women's reality rather than ideological scuffling.

Can anyone tell me why Barry was whining with Couric during the Superbowl warmup? WTF?

FISHPAW......If President Obama was on to announce that he had found a cure for all CANCERS you an your Fox-Republican Lunatic fringe would still be BITCHING!!!!! Move on Asshole!!!!!

Thank you Celisary for another highly intelligent post.

Well he hasn't, Drama Queen. The only thing he's found a cure for is Capitolism.

The only thing he's found a cure for is Capitolism.

Right. And the cure is bankruptcy.

"Obama's 44% job approval rating is the lowest he has scored in any non-internet poll since moving into the WH, according to a review of data compiled by Pollster.com."

"Another Look at Obama's Origins"

Like everything else about Obama, things never seem to add up.

I love that people are getting hurt and dying because they cannot seem to figure out how to put the cars transmission in neutral...

Says old "fair and balanced" Celisary: "FISHPAW......If President Obama was on to announce that he had found a cure for all CANCERS you an your Fox-Republican Lunatic fringe would still be BITCHING!!!!! Move on Asshole!!!!!"

HMMMMM Same bitch they threw around about Bush.

Remember the other one one about Bush walking on water to fetch the Pope's hat, and the NY Times headline was "Bush Can't Swim"?

So, Celisary, maybe the "MSNBC-Democratic/Progressive Fringe Lunatics" should move on....or at least come up with (and this'll be REAL hard) an original thought.

BEFORE the uglies get all excited, let me note that the the market went into the toilet from its post-Bush highs the very day that the Republican impostor stole the Kennedy Senate seat. There's an eminently reasonable explanation for this under-1,000 Dow. The Big Investors, whoever they are, do understand that health care reforms are good for business too, for more reasons than I have space to list.

But do watch out for creeping capitolism. It leads to edifice complexes. herm

The Who were an embarrassment last night. The vast majority of the songs were 1-2 keys lower and Roger's voice cracked a couple times.

Face facts Roger: Mick Jagger was smart singing his songs in a low key...and he can still perform them in his sixties. You need to move on to partnering with Alison Krauss on some bluegrass.

Thank God Freddy Mercury is dead. Watching him struggle singing his songs with a old man voice during a Super Bowl halftime would have been a tragedy.

Beck is headed to califnoria this wekk. That should be fun! On Friday he had had a panel of three people who deal with tax policy at various think thanks and they talked about the best and worse states. California is the worst, Michigan is too fargone, and Texas is the best, the one we should all emulate.

At the end of the show he asked rhetorial if the Union could keck states out and American flag was shown with one less star and he said, "California should be the first to go."

I agree, let's give it back to Mexico and let's require all illegal aliens (whether from Mexico or not) to move there.

Scre Califnornia. No bailout I say.

The good news is that they have lost 300,000 families. Hopefully this tranlates into fewer seats in the House and less electoral clout in the Electoral College. Hopeful common-sense places like Texas will win seats.

C'mon, what do you expect from 100 year old vocal chords?

I blame the whole shit on Janet Jackson's boob.

Rcade,

How is it that the yesterday's Waterboarding story moved to FP is also moved to Monday's posting? With that, I now lose eligibility for posting 2 today. In effect, though I have three others posted yesterday, only 1 was promoted.

I don't think you lose one post if a story you posted to the back page gets move to the front page the next day. I've have that happen to me before and I was still able to post two the back page the next day. Unless RCADE has changed things or the gerbils are acting up, there should be no problem

Sounds pretty cool where do I sign up?

IS THERE A FEE FOR THAT REGISTRATION?

Ha ha ha ha hah this is S Carolina we are talking about here.

Went to a Hippy Gathering a few years back in the National Forest down there - The annual RAINBOW FAMILY GATHERING.

The authorities tried to prevent it becasue of a state law that you cannot assemble more that 5000 people... SO we always reported our attendance as 4,999 people!

REMEMBER THE CWP 5!

With the little you provided, it is crystal clear "controlled opposition" Beck's globalist angle is how great the neo-con globalist big spender Perry is doing. Texas is doing relatively better than many irrespective of Perry's major flubs. Beck's controllers simply back up Palin's brainless backing of Perry at a rally on Sunday. Since she doesn't believe in paying property taxes, why wouldn't she promote the candidate campaigning on individual liberties based on private property rights? No, it's just more of the same while hijacking the tea party movement into the GOP.

Get in the box, John.

What? Not even 1 comment about the"Who Dat Nation" victory over the Colts? Sad. . . no love for the Saints. What is this country coming to?

Great win, being a Patriots fan I was rooting for the Saints because I did not want everyone saying that Manning was better than Brady and after seeing the Saints kick the Pats ass I knew they could win

Whatever happened to MoneyWar? Did he take on a new handle?

Manning walks off the field without shaking hands. I'm so glad he CHOKED.

Here's a site devoted to the permanent sourpuss on Manning's face.

Wobbie, if you're out there; what movie was it you hated the end of?

rCade, you've been known to follow this Nooner thread. What say you?

the very day that the Republican impostor stole the Kennedy Senate seat.

You are out of fucking control. STOLE???? How in fact did he STEAL THE SEAT you old shit for brains. You have nothing LEFT in your head HERM if you actually believe this. I know you are a pro-death libtard with warped views on personal responsibility and the rewarding individual efforts, but this is absurd. Put your teeth back in and look for some woman to help escort to the death clinic.

Isn't it fun to watch Cid's spittle run down his chin ? herm

"the very day that the Republican impostor stole the Kennedy Senate seat."

Wow, talk about liberal entitlements. How fucking stupid is that statement? Just because Dems cannot hold onto a seat that that old, drunken murderer kept for so long doesn't mean that it was stolen. But this sort of attitude will allow Republicans to win a lot of seats come November, so please keep it up.

Isn't it fun to watch Cid's spittle run down his chin ?

He's probably exasperated with your stupidity to the point of anger.

What's your excuse?

Spittle? That the best you can retort? Get back on the donepezil. Your Alzheimer symptoms are acting up again.

2010 then 2012 - you will have more than spittle running from your mouth. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
