How Television Controls
And Programs Minds
Turn Off Your Television
By L. Wolfe

Interestingly, the studies found that it doesn't matter what people watch, whether it's ``The Simpsons'' or ``McNeil/Lehrer,'' or ``Murphy Brown'' or ``Nightline':' the more television you watch, the {less literate, the more stupid} you are. The growth in television watching had surprised some of the researchers. Back a decade ago, they were predicting that television watching would level off and might actually decline. It had reached an absolute saturation point.

Brainwashed Public
Psychological Warfare: U.S. Media Style

America in particular is receiving the heaviest doses
of a full-spectrum of psychological warfare and
"perception management" techniques. Much of it is in the form of stuff that you are accustomed to consuming
every day...and would probably feel lost without it:
in particular, the news.
Almost EVERYTHING you get on mainstream tv is
infected. "Truth is our weapon" is how they work.
These are very tricky times to exist, from a
psychological perspective. Over the past fifty years,
the hardest core sciences funded by almost infinite black budgets have brought to bear an extremely insidious psy-war/propaganda machine, in the service of what Aldous Huxley called the "scientific dictatorship", of which the Nazis were the first.
After WW2, thousands of Nazi scientists and
researchers were imported into all areas of the U.S. science and technology arena, universities and the MIC. What we are experiencing today is the beginning of their big move for total global domination...and the biggest battlefield is THE HUMAN MIND. If you don't think outside their box, they never even need guns: you are the perfect sheep, the obedient consumer.

The Betty White and Abe Vigoda skits were funny...

as much as I loved the Megan Fox add... I mean she is just disgustingly fine.....

I thought the McMahon shuffle add was the best.

And by "best" I mean a moderately funny add in a sea of mediocre superbowl adds.

My dog's liked the shock collar one the best. Noticed one of them eyeing me....

I liked the Kia ad with the Sock Monkey and the other toys on a joyride, the Betty White ad and the Google ad. All in all, though, there weren't many standouts. Lots of the same-ol', same-ol'.

Did anyone's world come crashing down becuase of the Tebow add?

I thought not.

Tasteful, good message, all in all not anywhere worth the stupid raving done by so many.

Liked the VW punch spot. Stevie was the suprise button. Well done.

Danica Patrick in any Ad.

Budweiser Horse and Ox

'scuse me?! That was a Longhorn.

The GoDaddy ads were really subtle again this year, eh?

and I am not sure I like the new e-trade baby. Just not as funny... maybe it is just becuase the talking baby joke is getting old.

What is an Ox?

Hook'Em Oxen!......naw.... that's just not right.....

My favorite was on Sat night...

Best comercial yet!

I loved the Betty White/Abe Vigoda commercial for Snickers. White's evidently one helluva trouper; that tackle that put her in the mud appears to have been dead real.

I hope I'm kicking like that when I'm her age, which is 88.

I have to go with the kid and the Doritos as my favorite ... "Don't touch my momma and don't touch my Doritos"

Though all the Doritos and the Dennys ads (chickens) were pretty good.

Some really lame ones, though

Hey Jeffi?

Shut the fuck up. Fucking Coward.

The Letterman bit with Oprah and Leno was awesome.

They don't like each other.

Must have been good money for The Mighty O! and Leno.

My favorite was the ninja Dorito ad, - not even listed as a choice.

I liked the ad where the town-hall screamers from last summer were driven into the sea. That was some funny shit!

What's that? It didn't happen? I guess it was just a nice dream.

link.brightcove.com

This one was supposed to run but I never saw it...it was my favorite

That BrightCove link ad is hilarious.

They don't like each other.

Must have been good money for The Mighty O! and Leno.

That was the best one by far. No was paid for it. Just press, and it was fun for them (atleast Oprah and Letterman...).

The worst commercial was the one that lasted about 45 minutes with this numb nut Obama sitting across from Katie Couric and blaming the Repubs for not getting anything done. It was funny to think that millions of people were eating and drinking beer all hyped up for Superbowl and this moron comes on and starts to whine. What an idiot.

What an idiot.

Gotta agree with Oldwiskey the VW add with Stevie was the best, my daughter didn't know who it was and didn't get it at first. I told her and she about died I think it was even funnier to her cause her grandma is blind.

I think the Tebow ad made a great case for universal health care, at least for pregnant women.

An odd suggestion, given that Focus on the Family -- like the good right-wing nutjobs that they are -- opposes government health care.

Green Planet Police Jingle? Three commercials for Audi.
www.youtube.com

www.youtube.com

www.youtube.com

Incandescent light bulbs, plastic bags, orange peels, Styrofoam coffee cups, Jacuzzi hot tubs these are crimes against the environment, according to automaker Audi. One of the ads depicts a police checkpoint where the Fourth Amendment is violated. Such illegal checkpoints have been used to find drunk drivers.
The "lighthearted" ads are designed to send a strong message there are green crimes and it is acceptable for government to respond in police state fashion. Is Audi merely cashing in on the eco frenzy to sell its low emission automobiles or is the larger agenda to get the plebs accustomed to the idea that their lifestyles are crimes against the earth? In response government must tax, fine, and even arrest violators. It is part of a propaganda effort to soften citizens up to a global carbon tax and fascist police state methods in order to enforce the a new green oligarchy.

Agreed. Obama and his writers make up some of the funniest bits ever. They have really transformed the office of the President of the United States into something that looks and acts a lot like the Keystone Cops. (No disrespect to the Keystone Cops intended.)

My own inclination is to start surfing, especially to basketball, when the Superbowl switches to a commercial. (And of course we know that for every ten minutes of football, you get twenty minutes of commercial; we're grateful for that occasional football break.) But that practice made me miss Mama Tebow's fetal rights pitch. I sat through halftime with the sound off waiting for it. This morning's e-mails imply that it was't very good or persuasive anyway. herm

Did anyone's world come crashing down becuase of the Tebow add?

Thank G-d for that. I was totally expecting ultrasounds of fetuses and what-not. That ad was so toned-down and the way they delivered the message I would have never thought it to be about abortion.

So yeah I guess the message of a mother loving her child isn't particularly controversial. The Tebow ad was much more palatable than back-to-back guys in underwear. Please, Madison Ave, put down that meme before the next Super Bowl.

The other ad I thought was interesting was the Dove ad for men's personal hygiene products. That ad was pitched at women, which is smart for them to realize the woman is going to be the one to buy shower gel and what-not for her man to use. (Men just use whatever's lying around the bathroom.) I saw the Super Bowl with a married buddy, we (somehow) got to talking about toilet paper and he admitted he hadn't bought a roll of toilet paper in about five years; that's in the wife's realm. So that ad was probably the most clever marketing ploy in my opinion.

Punxatawney Polamalu and the Betty White one were the only two that really got me to laugh. And the toys in the back seat of the car, that was a good one. I loved the tattoo being sewn on.

Sure, and the American flag lapel pins of the commentators, cut-away shots of American troops in uniform deployed throughout the world, and Air Force flyover were all part of a propaganda effort to soften citizens up to a global military presence and fascist police state methods in order to preserve the American hegemony.

Big fucking deal.

toys in the back seat of the car....

that commercial wierded me out. that one thing looked like a dildo.

the census commercial hands down. a couple million to see ed begley in a nonsensical commercial is a taxpayer's dream.

The Betty White ad was funny.

The kid on the plane for Etrade was funny too.

The Tebow ad was just fine. The world did not end or anything.

My faprite commercial was with Carol from the Magic Garden. It will be a classic. I loved how that got Oscar the Grouch and old clips of John Denver singing their ABC's

what was the message anyway, i am the terrific mom of a kid "honor student who almost didn't make it at birth cause we were sick and you're a loser" type bumper sticker?

i was like, whaa?

This whole thread is just a reframed programming technique to remove the influence of the audi commercial.

notice it is not on here and it was the best.
watch it on U TUBE and maybe the influence of this thread will be nullified.

here was the best add
pass it around

Green Police! Because nothing says funny than total state tyranny and militarization! /sarcasm

My favorite and the best ad was the coca-cola simpsons ad. It really hit home about how friends and family mean more than your stuff. In this economy that was a nice ad.

whew....I think it just moved.

green police was the best because it showed how stupid the environmental wackos are

and it was the worst because the whole thing is not that far out of the possibility that radical leftists wouldnt do JUST that...

but all in all...if they werent stupid they were rather ordinary.

Afka calls the "environmental wackos" stupid. The millennium is here. Maybe we can convince them not to work so hard to save Afka's ass from extinction. herm
