Every piece of economic news is unexpected. The economists have no fucking idea what is going on, and its been this way for at least a decade.

Either does the President of the United States.

"So too our "educated class" amongst the Main Stream Media:

First-time jobless claims rise unexpectedly"

"Since when is a continuation of a four week trend "unexpected"?"

I agree.

Eight years of Duuuuhbya has really fucked this country.

"Mission Accomplished"!

Funny, I thought our current president's name started with an O. I wasn't aware that Duuuuhbya was elected to a third term.

Until the government will do what is necessary to rebuild our economy look for these losses to continue.

Another jobless recovery courtesy of corporate america and the bought and paid for Congress.

I wasn't aware that Duuuuhbya was elected to a third term.

One needs only look at the continuation of the policies of the past 40 years to see that Obama sold America a bill of goods labeled as "Hope and CHange".

C'mon now, you know you still have the Duuuhhhbya flight suit poster over your bed.

This country didn't go down the shitter since last jan.

It started under your "Hero's" watch.

God damn you're a fucking retard. LOL!

I've always maintained the crash was Bush's fault.

Go back to flirting with Nanc, the only thing you're good at.

It's only unexpected because these asswipes keep thinking Obama and his collection of village idiots know what the fuck they're doing. Obama sold America a bill of goods labeled as "Hope and Change" alright, and America is paying for it with their every last dime, and a crapload of newly printed bills.

God damn you're a fucking retard. LOL!

And you would be god at......?

Sorry "good"

LOD,

This country has sold out the manufacturing base to cheap labor havens. This policy needs to be reversed.

There is no such thing as "free" trade so long as China continues to manipulate it's dollar.

Most favored nation trade status should be a tool that encourages human rights not given willy nilly at the whim of corporate interests seeking a cheap labor haven to offshore labor.

What do we get in return, declining wages, lost jobs and toxic toys.

Money does not make money. Until real wage growth occurs in the US for the middle class, look for the recession to continue.

Looks like I'm pissing off your smug ass, Douchebag.

Yeah. Is anything at all being done to bring those jobs back? Obama said he'd focus on jobs; is he twisting any arms in congress? (we know if the other party takes over they'll do jack shit about it)

Looks like I'm pissing off your smug ass, Douchebag.

You've responded to his slap with 3 posts. I think it's pretty obvious who's pissed off...

That being said, have you ever read "dlisted"? I think you'd really enjoy it. Today the guy that writes it said Snookie "is a lady because she puts her hand in front of her vagina prior to queefing".

From where I'm sitting, it looks like you're icing your vagina after the boot LOD gave it.

LOL! I'm hardly pissed off. I'm half way thru a joint. Not pissed at all, Keyboard Warrior.

I don't recall rattling your cage this a.m.

"The number of newly laid-off workers filing initial claims for jobless benefits rose unexpectedly last week, evidence that layoffs are continuing and jobs remain scarce."

Well, it's really even worse than that.

www.bloomberg.com

But do not worry...there is a lot of "stimulus money" out there creating jobs by the bucketloads.

"DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Channel 2 Action News has learned that nearly 200 DeKalb County school employees will be boarding flights to Los Angeles this week to attend an education conference that will cost taxpayers nearly $400,000. The money isn't coming from local tax dollars but from federal dollars that came to the county as part of the Obama administration's 2009 stimulus package."

Really?

I need some advice.

Do you ice your gash with cubed or crushed ice?

Shameful.

We almost had a similar situation here at the hospital I work at. A bunch of admins were going to go to, I'm not kidding, a medical clinic near Disney in Florida for some sort of collaborative session. What a load of bullshit. haha! And we received stimulus money. Enough people shouted it down, though, so it got cut fortunately.

Oh, good! You and Danni can get together and solve the world's problems. Two fuckin' druggies are a lot more comical than just one trying to do a monologue.

Is anything at all being done to bring those jobs back? Obama said he'd focus on jobs; is he twisting any arms in congress? (

Nope, just more useless tax credits.

No business will hire someone that they do not need, pay salaries and benes for a tax credit.

They are just throwing shit against the wall in the hope it sticks.

They cannot do anything that will make piss of corporate america.

Those jobs are gone forever.

Once the unemployed drop off the unemployment benefit list it will be a magical event that the unemployment rate went down.

"I'll be here all week. Bring your wife to the show. 50 bucks says I fuck her backstage."

Hmmmm...Me thinks you're into stronger stuff than just weed. Instead of Danni, you might want to join up with Buffaloed_Boob at his factory on the moon.

Do you ice your gash with cubed or crushed ice?

Alittle respect for your Mother, please.

As I keep saying, government is not the solution; it is the problem. The more Obama spends, taxes and regulates, the more jobs he destroys. Since he shows no signs of slowing down, I expect bad news like this to accelerate through the rest of his term.

One needs only look at the continuation of the policies of the past 40 years to see that Obama sold America a bill of goods labeled as "Hope and CHange".

So, this is Carter's 2nd recession?

Appropriate, since this is Carter's 2nd administration.

The gift that keeps giving

Who says this was unexpected? The WH?

President Ofuckup could have given the stimulus money directly to small business with the caveat that they hire X # numbers of employees for X amount given instead of flushing it down the toilet.

But that would be socialism.
~Twenty-Six Percenter

Instead, it was squanderism.

Do you democrats really think Obama ever intended to do anything about jobs in our great country.

His mission is to destroy our economy and country and try to turn us into what Venezuela has become. A socialized dictatorship.

Are your heads buried so far up your asses that you can't see what he is doing?

"(Obama's) mission is to destroy our economy and country"

And you think other people's heads are buried up their asses?

I guess there is universality in your worldview.

Is that why the Dems just announced a Jobs Bill, BUZKILLER? No doubt the GOP will be against this too.
