Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

General Kayani came out a little too strong in his statement. If you get behind all the polite words, he comes out and says, look this is what Pakistan wants in Afghanistan, a state unable to defy Pakistan, and we will go along with the West on whatever it likes. That includes training your new Afghan Army.

So yeah, a little impolitic, but definitely good in offering a way out for Western forces in Afghanistan whilst attempting to maintain Pakistani intwerests there.

Well done, I say.

I wasn't expecting someone from our side to say all this openly.

Good that the cards are now on the table. And the US has no other options.

Have you noticed how the American/British media has significantly toned down any reference to India with regards to Afghanistan?

A while ago, it used to be "India is Afghanistan's neighbor" (how the fuck? LOL) and that "India has a role to play".... now however it's a different tune.

It's going to improve further. This is only a start.

These sentences in this otherwise stupid article, say it all.

"Delhi's failure to respond to the changing situation in Afghanistan might cause huge setbacks for India," C. Raja Mohan, a foreign policy expert at the US Library of Congress, wrote in the Indian Express newspaper on Monday.

"India had a great run in Afghanistan in Phase One (since 2001 until recently) ... However, the stasis that had gripped India's security policy in recent months and some fine manoeuvring by the Pakistani army threaten to marginalise Delhi in Phase Two."

Both Hindus and Americans checkmated in one move. Whatchagonnadonow?

Interesting article, YS.

Interesting article, YS.

It's a sign of things to come.

Pakistan offers to take over training of the Afghan army?

Sweet deal sez Spud.

The Afghanis will no doubt be more open to the idea of being trained by a neighbouring country which they have strong ties to than by a western superpower who has invaded and occupied them fer so long.

At the very least this idea should be seriously considered by the powers-that-be.

Be Well.

Sensible idea, Gen. Kayani.

The Afghanis will no doubt be more open to the idea of being trained by a neighbouring country

It would mean America letting go (which they don't want to). However, America is losing in Afghanistan and will have to wind down sooner or later.

It would mean, any Indian found in Afghanistan had better explain themselves or be shot dead.

I would prefer they try acting cute so we can get them killed.

I more than once said here, Pakistan needs a compliant and docile Afghanistan.... and we will get it, one way or another.

At the very least this idea should be seriously considered by the powers-that-be.

There was a threat of "or else" in the subtext.

They WILL "consider" it. Sooner or later. It's our backyard and nobody else's (not even Iran's), and it's time to come in for supper.

Watch this.

America's willingness to listen to our enemy and let them carry out their activities like so, cost America Afghanistan.

Now the US can pretend "victory" in a year or two and Obama can bring his people home.

And that Indian/American-lover... piece of shit President of Pakistan, Zardari.... he can go suck on a lemon.

I say we pull out now and initiate operation Green Glass.

Posted by Tosser

Ah - "Tokyo Rose" Tosser speaks......are we demoralized yet? I think not.

are we demoralized yet? I think not.

Oh?

Okay, give it another year then to make it so obvious a blind fellow can see.

and initiate operation Green Glass.

The only thing you will initiate is a deep bow from Obama.

But now that I think of it.... yes, it might be a good idea to nuke Afghanistan. That way YOU will get what you want and WE will get what we want.

The only other way is to leave Pak-army in-charge. LOL

It's going to happen anyway, so why not cooperate and make it happen sooner rather than later?

We are the only ones capable of blowing these taliban rats to smithereens.... your British or other NATO partners haven't been able to make a dent even.
