Given that the U.N. is supposed to be taking the lead in such a disaster and is not, if the Hatian government wants the U.S. to bankroll their recovery, I say we immediately withhold all future payments to prop up the U.N. and dedicate those funds to rebuilding Haiti. And while we're at it, let's just kick the U.N. out of New York. If they want to stay in the U.S. for security reasons, then let's move them to say Detroit. Their economy could use the boost in tourism and the real estate is not nearly as expensive.
