Why is blocking health care reform bad?

Someone please tell me how my coverage will be at least as good and that I will not have to pay more?

Keep the plan you have if you're happy with it. Don't count on the premiums staying level. They've been rising an average 15% a year for a couple decades.

They will be rising about 50% the year after this legislation is passed for individual and small business policies - it's called community rating.

I'll stick with my 7% increase for this year, schmuck.

Funny thing is, claims expenditures have risen proportionately with premiums - don't use so much care if you don't want premiums to rise.

I was planning on doing that. However, I was hoping for a public option and eliminating certain restrictions allowing more freedom of competition that would force private insurers to operate more effeciently and competively.

But none of that was in the bill.
