I expect this poll to break down along Party lines. So, if my assumption is correct, about sixty percent will approve of the tactics.

Those are the only answers the poll's author could imagine?

Give us another option Diablow.

Perhaps if Obama actually came up with an initiative that made sense and helped the American people.

It wouldnt matter KBM, you would still root for Col. Sanders, Chickenboy.

Really, the burden is on the President and party that is in power (and by comfortable margins) to push agenda. Obviously the Republicans aren't worried about being painted as obstructionists, President Obama has the bully pulpit, so use it to convince the voters in Republican districts over what they should do.

"Obviously the Republicans aren't worried about being painted as obstructionists"

They may come to rue the day they cast themselves in the role of tedious naysayers.

They may come to rue the day

Already "rueing it" in VA, NJ, & MA so far. LOL.

They may come to rue the day they cast themselves in the role of tedious naysayers.

I don't disagree but they are standing firm on this. The difference in the parties may be that the Dems fear losing their own personal elections over the party and the Republicans...don't.

What a BS fucking poll. Two words SUPER MAJORITY. The only real honest answer to the poll is not included. THE DEMS ARE OBSTRUCTING THEMSELVES. Put that in your pot pipe and smoke it.

Healthcare lockout.
Cap and Tax - passed with 8 repubs voting aye and 44 dems voting Nay.

DR liberals are pathetic and out of touch with reality.

D. The Democrats are stupid, and their ideas shouldn't be allowed to become law.

These are the only 3 options?

This is why polls are so inane.

Interesting. Not a single rightwinger is willing to acknowledge that they approve of the GOPs obstructionist strategy. They support it but are too ashamed to acknowledge that support. Reflects the typical GOPher approach to policy in so many ways... Say one thing, but do another. Act one way, but accuse the other guy of being the one acting that way. Speak nicely when watched, pursue selfish and self serving policies when nobody is watching.

Moder8, the Republican party is slightly more effective than the Libertarians. I have to think that on some level, you have to be a little upset that the Dems allow themselves to be pushed around by the big bad bully Republicans.

I voted yea. Why you might wonder? Almost all of the legislation that has been proposed IS unConstitutional. Heck for that matter most legislation passed for the pass 100 years HAS BEEN unConstitutional.

I will note that #9 points out that your 'side' has the votes to pass pretty much whatever they want .... BUT CAN'T. Thankfully.

All I want is a smaller (much smaller) Federal (and State) government. YOU can play doctor with whomever you want to in your bedroom JUST don't air your dirty laundry in public. And don't ask for handouts.

Obama has (finally) realized that we have a spending problem. DUH. What are we spending money on? A lot of entitlement programs.

Hopefully adults will be elected (again finally) coming in November and 2012 to fix what the children in Congress (all parties) have broken.

Oh If you really want a socialist (or communist) country ... MOVE to one (there are plenty) and don't come back. Otherwise stop screwing up my country.

Otherwise stop screwing up my country.

Yav has no point. He/she/it can only deflect to someone no longer in office. This must mean I'm right.

Yav has no point. He/she/it can only deflect to someone no longer in office. This must mean I'm right.

Here's a clue:

No deflection at all, just a sentiment.

Need another clue?

Leahy.

I can not vote on this poll because I don't agree with the basic premise that Republicans are obstructionists to beign with.

If you had phreased the questioned differently, I could have participated: "Do you believe Republicans are Obstructionist?" and then the choices, "Yes, contemptable, blah bhah," "Yes, but I agree with the tactics," "no, Democrats controlled everything up until last week, blah blah,"

Kill all the lawyers.

-- Also Shakespeare

Maybe if Obama's policies weren't so fucked up there wouldn't be a need for obstructionism. How about a poll for the proposed $3.8 Trillion budget? I'm sure the republicans will jump up and down with joy on that much spending. Oops, I guess that would be the libs.

I find the GOP's tactics contemptible.

Back to school with ya, Jason. Start with Logic 101.

Yeah, democracy sucks doesn't it? Having to allow other people's ideas be put into practice.

Otherwise stop screwing up my country.

How about you move to a country that fits YOUR fancy?

Your ideas are screwing up MY country.

Gold dust will dissipate into the water supply, coal dust will kill a man in half a span.

Not enough options on this poll.

I didn't vote because the choice I wanted to see isn't up there.

Add "Think it's part of politics and that Democrats should know it by now. Instead, the allow themselves to be bullied into decisions they later claim to regret." as a choice, please.
