The Libertarian party would be very happy if this country's government was as small and dysfunctional as Haiti's.

As long as they don't have to pay taxes and can rape all the children they want, they don't give a damn if there are roads, schools or a military to keep the Huns away.

Did they finally wake up from their dope induced haze?

Typical misrepresentations of the Libertarian Party. What else should I have expected.

I keep accidentally reading nearly 1/2 of your posts.

reading book by huckabee about the campaign and he has some interesting comments about libertarians..

"can rape all the children they want"

Pretty sure the safe school tsar isn't a libertarian.

Who gives a shit what the guy that couldn't get a nomination over McCain has to say about anything?

If I remember correctly, Fuckabee once said something to the effect that Libertarianism is unamerican or evil. This comming from an FDR wannabe who gave clemency to a criminal who went on to kill cops. Fuckabee is irrelevant.

I doubt Obama would put a libertarian as a czar. And I doubt a Libertarian would accept a job where he could end up being called "czar."

Czars? This video has all kinds of funny and idiotic/impolite moments. Amazing how ill informed the crowd is. Same tired slogans. Dumbstruck when questioned. Case in point - 6:24 on (2 minute segment)

Interviewer: "The first 'czar' was appointed by Ronald Reagan, was anyone concerned about that? Czars were expanded under George W Bush ..."

The Tea (I'll be polite) Party folks were stunned. Their answers, ignorance, and reactions are priceless!.

VIDEO @ 6:24: www.youtube.com

Other notable highlights:

"Unarmed this time"
"Are we in Russia" - 1:30
"Bury Obamacare with Kennedy" - 3:31
(guys says: "Well, they said lots of stuff", Interviewer: "Like what" "Well, I can't think of anything right off the bat")
"Hitler was a good speaker too"

etc etc

Doesn't anyone care about the truth or educating themselves on issues before speaking anymore? Sad times for America...

Regarding the "kids" comment, do a search for "Mary Ruwart" plus relevant terms. And, bear in mind that she was voted on to be the LP's VP candidate.

That said, it's the 99.99% who are evil sociopathic fascists who give a bad name to all the rest.

P.S. I'm not on Team Liberal.

"Bury Obamacare with Kennedy"

Unfortunately I am not convinced Obamacare is dead yet, but if it should die, it is ironic that it died the day Kenedy died. If this ends up being true, Obamacare was a zombie from the time Kennedy died to the time Brown was elected. Sure, they were going throught the motions without realizing it was dead.

What, specifically, do you object to in what you call "Obamacare"?

Fucking dumbass-

You do understand that "czar" is a media term and dates back into the Reagan administration with the "drug czar".

Or are you just completely stupid?

I object to the government forcing people to buy health care and I also object to politicians making decisions about how much people should pay depending on what lobbying group they belong to, senior citizens, women, etc. When politicians make decisions instead of the market, things get distorted and inneficiencies are created, resulting in everyone paying more.

I do realize that the workd "czar" is a media creation, that is why I put quotes around it. Reading comprehension on your part would be nice.

So, if some idiot might call a libertarian a "czar", that libertarian would be remiss in accepting the position?

Sure. What about Medicare.

I know that's a tough one, Member. I'll maybe check back later for your response.

Okay. Guess it's going to be a long wait.

I'll look forward to your respnose if I ever care to.

Medicare should eventually be privatized, the same as sociall security. Obviously it can be done overnight, but I think future generations of people shoold be put on a different track so they don't have to depend on these two programs.

Medicare Advantage, the closest thing to 'privatized' Medicare, rakes $.20 of every dollar in 'administrative fees'. A waste. Regular Medicare - 2%. Privatization of every sector of our government hasn't led to lower costs. It's increased them exponentially when profit is the motivating factor.

If SS had been privatized, don't you think recent events like the Wall Street meltdown and stock market falling from 14,000 to 10,000 (which hit 401K's like crazy) would indicate that might not be a good idea?

many doctors do not accept Medicare patients because the reinbursement is low, or if they do, those pateitns are subsidized by people who pay with private insurance. In any case, Medicare (and other entitlements) fosters government dependency. People on Medicare oppose Obamacare even thought they are on Medicare because of this government dependency. also, Democrats are not shy about saying that once a health bill passes they believe it will be popular. This is cynical. Once people become dependent on a plan, yeah it becomes popular, but it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

My financial adviser told me many times years ago that he pleaded with people nearing retirement age not to be so aggreesive, but ultimate "the customer is always right" so he had to do as they asked. Personal responsibility they call it. It sounds harsh, but it's a fact of life.
