We have a spending the problem, but you can caount with the fingers on one hand the people in D.C. who are serious about doing something. There is not even support for a fucking FREEZE, let alone CUTS. And why shouldn't they be ACROSS THE BOARD, INCLUDING ENTITLEMENTS? I think people would accepts cuts to their favorite programs if they understood (and believed) that everyone is getting a painful cut. Also, if the results were susbstantial, then people would be willing to do it. But if partial spending freezes only results in minimal results, no one will want to see their program cut.

Nobody should be entitled to Social Security or Medicare until age 70. Suddenly, almost everything is fixed.
