Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

HONOLULU Republicans delight in depicting President Barack Obama as hopelessly out of touch with average Americans, but the decision by the Republican National Committee to hold its winter meeting at a tropical resort is turning the accusation on its head.
Yet at a moment when millions are out of work and millions more struggling to get by, the party's governing board will plot its comeback on the island of Oahu, sipping drinks poolside, catching rays on the beach that abuts the villa and raising questions about whether they're as politically tone-deaf as they accuse the president of being.

The way way way out of power party meeting and strategizing in Hawaii. Who cares!

RNV shouldn't you be worried about the majority party getting health reform, and a shit ton of other stuff while they still have a huge majority?

The Republicans are nothing, nada, not a factor, completely helpless unless aided by Dem lawmakers (as we have been).

The Republicans meeting should have just slightly more of an impact than the libertarian party meeting.

Maybe they can visit Obama on vacation. Copenhagen sounds a lot more fun.

"Yet at a moment when millions are out of work and millions more struggling to get by" Michelle Obama walks in with $750 shoes, $625 coat, $5,000 dress and a $30,000 rock on her finger to eat Wagyu steak.

I feel your pain.

"Michelle Obama walks in with $750 shoes, $625 coat, $5,000 dress and a $30,000 rock on her finger to eat Wagyu steak."

I don't recall Michelle ever referring to women buying coats, dress's, shoes or having a rock on their finger while they eat steak as being "out of touch", (certainly not with my wife) out of the norm, or even "Foreign".

Perhaps you can post that Youtube for all of us to see (like I did)?

I'm not in any pain, but it appears your Logic is screaming under the Torture you are Inflicting upon it.

Is RedNeckVille seriously whining about Republicans meeting in Hawaii, when Obama went there for vacation? It's a nice place, I'd go there right now if I could. I don't blame either party for wanting to spend time there at work or at play. Nothing will stop the RedNeckVilles from partisan whining and hypocrisy!

The phrase "Toss all the bums out" is as meaningless and absurd as the phrase "When I win the lottery" but, it's still fun to say it.
Honestly, it's our fault as a people these aristocrats exist.
They all need to be humbled.

Yeah, I know..."In my dreams".

I'd become a Repub for a month to get back to Maui for a week.

Been a few years...tried to talk Mrs Whiskeysour into sellin the lot and moving. Turns out, I couldnt close her on it.

Been there 10 times.

Jonesing for a tall ice tea and some good Maui weed.

Sigh.

How hard is it to close a deal with an urn?

U nasty!

"Is RedNeckVille seriously whining about Republicans meeting in Hawaii, when Obama went there for vacation?"

They can go where ever they want ----- it's just I find it amusing they are going to the same "Foreign Land" that they just criticized obama for going to, the same local they themselves defined as "Foreign" to the American people and a signal as to how "out of touch" Obama is with the American people.

But I can understand why you don't want to rehash this! It's just fucking Embarrassing!

"Foreign land" of Hawaii?

Musta missed that meme.

Teh googleZ zey do something!

* googles *

Cokie Roberts is catching a little heat today because she twice has attacked Barack Obama for vacationing this week in Hawaii, which she describes as "some sort of foreign exotic place." She actually criticized him for not being American enough, because he went to visit his grandmother where she lives, in one of America's 50 states.

Is Cokie her actual name or just a reference to her mental state?

"You have to also remember the fact that the president being on vacation in Hawaii, it's much different than being in Texas. Hawaii to many Americans seems like a foreign place. And I think those images, the optics, hurt President Obama very badly."

~Kevin Madden GOP strategist on CNN

Ah, so Obama gets criticized fer vacationing in his home state where his grandmother was living by essentially the same people who are now holding their mid-winter meeting there.

Meh, merely another minor hypocritical moment in an eternity of FAIL.

Be Well.

But I can understand why you don't want to rehash this! It's just fucking Embarrassing!

Except I am no supporter of republicans and so cannot be embarrassed by their actions when talking to a democrat. Why do I even bother explaining these things to such a retard?

"Except I am no supporter of republicans"

of course not, you just defend them for fun!
