I'm always hesitant to use current events to say someone is the most anything "in history". How can you feel the pulse of people 100 years ago?

Plus, he's only been the big guy for 1 year.

Must be the "magnetic" personality.

It doesn't help that he's always got his damn nose in the air.

Try working with the other parties, no more closed door deals.

"But I don't want the folks that created the mess -- I don't want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them just to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.

Try working with the other parties

How about 160 Republican amendments in the Senate health care bill and not a single Republican vote?

Seems to me like Obama and the Senate Dems have tried bipartisanship and come up with less than nothing for their efforts.

You dipshit. Bipartisanship means working 'together.' The fact that Republicans added amendments means nothing. Locking out Republicans from key meetings -- does that also qualify as 'bipartisan' in your book?

You think the Dems invited, begged, pleaded with Republicans to add amendments? You think that's the process?

What a maroon

You are utterly delusional if you think the Dems made even a token effort at bi-partisanship.

Personally, I don't really care. They can be as partisan as they want; it's their perogative.

The fact that they couldn't manage to get this thing passed given their huge majorities is VERY telling regarding the quality of the bill.

The fact that they had to resort to blatant bribery to get certain votes is very telling.

The fact that this bill is hugely upopular with the public but they are pushing forward anyways is very telling.

Why in the hell would the GOP support a monstrosity of a bill that the public is very much against?

I don't believe that President Obama is "the most polarizing president".

I think he happens to be president when the country is the most polarized it has ever been.

OK, let's review.

Where did the Senate health care bill originate?

In the Senate Finance Committee. aka the "Gang of Six".

What is the makeup of this committee, by political party?

Three Democrats and three Republicans.

Why don't I ever watch Fox News?

Because it makes you stupid.
