For the first time, former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards has publicly admitted that he is the father of a 2-year-old daughter conceived with Rielle Hunter, a campaign videographer with whom he had an affair. "It was wrong for me to ever deny she was my daughter," he said Thursday. "I am Quinn's father." A former Edwards aide, Andrew Young, initially claimed paternity of the child shortly before the 2008 presidential primary contests began. Young is scheduled to release a book on Feb. 2 that details the scandal.

Elizabeth.

In other news, the sun will set in the west today.

So Edwards hires some semi-hawt slut to make a vid fer his campaign just showing wot a great guy he is and somewhere in the process he nails her and knocks her up, all while his wife is battling cancer?

Then he denies fer so long that by the time he actually officially admits it becomes another punchline?

* head-desk *

That noted, that Rielle Hunter produced vid would prolly make fer some pretty funneh viewing at this point.

Spud's a HUGE fan of irony and unintentional comedy.

Lying, cheating sack of shiat pols?

Not so much.

Seriously - who gives a shit?

Agreed. Yesterdays news.

Of course. Afterall, he's a Democrat who merely cheated on his dying wife while running for President. Unlike Clinton whose wife was healthy and was President...

Time to MoveOn.LOL

Sure ya wanna go there, snowflake?

K.

Unlike Newt Gingrich who was standing up in Congress actually decrying Clinton's filandering ways all while he was cheating on his cancer-ridden wife by fucking Marianne Ginther who he eventually dumped fer wife number three again cheating on her before his divorce.

Yer turn.

The DC sex scandal game.

A fun way to while away the day ...and the night ...and the next day ...and so on and so forth.

Sure beats intelligently debating the important issues of the day!/snark>

Why not? It's the truth.

Edwards sets a new standard for douchebaggery in politics that could be tough to top. His actions were so obviously disastrous that a group of his top advisers plotted in 2008 to go public if he won Iowa, afraid that he'd get the nomination and the Republicans would have this card to play against him.

He should pay all the contributions back that were given to him during the campaign.

A very interesting post, Rcade and well written.

Good of the Press to tell us about this during the election.

Just like they did with any rumor on Palin (its not her baby) or Bush (Drunk and having an affair)

Unlike David Vitter who used prostitutes while his wife was healthy and jeepers he still is the Republic senator from Louisiana.

Oooooh what a fun game to play.

Lying to your wife and family, one thing. Cheating your country a little different, but both are signs we put up with too much from these A holes. Vote them all out when found out.

Just to play the game though, can I throw in a vote for Teddy?

Oooooh what a fun game to play.

It would be a helluva lot more fun if you boobs would name someone running for or holding the office of President...

I still would have voted for him over Obama

Imagine the irony if it would have been Jerry Springer.

How Nobel of him.

It would be a helluva lot more fun if you boobs would name someone running for or holding the office of President...

Edwards is running for POTUS?

Don't pull a muscle moving them goalposts.

You like Nutty Newty?

Trudi Giuliani?

Do I need to go on cupcake?

It never ceases to amaze me how Dummiecrats can continually get duped by bright, clean articulate phonies.

Almost as often as you republitards cocky.

Interestingly, the 'National Enquirer' broke the story at some point during the campaign. But we don't consider them the "press", do we?

They also broke the Flush Rimjob Hillbilly Heroin story.

Rethuglycans prefer being duped by public restroom toe-tappers.

Music to Cookfish's "ears".

Is Vera Baker still restricted to the Caribbean?

Do I need to go on cupcake?

Sure, if you want to continue to make an ass out of yourself. President or running for President, Waterhead. Christ.

Did Newt of Rudy pull it when running, numbskull? No.

And the "Biden is an idiot" story.

Okay... John McCain... your turn dippy.

"Biden is an idiot" is not real hard journalism there.

Dems dropped him like a hot potato.

Took criminal charges to end Delay's House reign, and Gingrich is reportedly considering a 2012 presidential run.

How bout those trek's through the appalachian trails.

So that excuses it Wissy? LOL.

I don't know which is worse, being a douche bag like Edwards, Newty or Rudy or being a douchebag apologist like you are.

Mass. Got it right. Be independent thinking. We are a people supposed to be governed by the people. Morons and losers like all of these mentioned need to go away. Newt is a bloated blowhard that should maybe be allowed to comment only, but never allowed to take on an official capacity anywhere. He's demonstrated way too much questionable charachter. We need to hold all to better standards and make being a politician a "respected" position. They need to retain that respect with actions. I would like to see more independent candidates run and the other two dieing parties hold their own accoutable more. It is tougher and tougher to turn a blind eye these days, and if you do, you should be held accountable for the same crime.

So that excuses it Wissy? LOL.

Okay... John McCain... your turn dippy.

#32 | Posted by 726

Wrong again, short crank.

If I play, I would name John Kennedy, then Robert, then Ted.... Back to you.

"Listen to me....I am only going to say this once.....I DID have sexual relations with that woman....."

My question is, why would someone lie about it for years?

Is that ok with you?

Once a liar, always a liar.

"My question is, why would someone lie about it for years?"

Because that's what guys do. It's in their blood. It's their avenue of first defense.

Even moreso when they're married.

What's not to understand?

Your a girl, aren't you?

RICHARD

Of course I'm a girl.

How do you think I came by all this wisdom?

You might want to pull your head out of your ass in the future before becoming a complete dick, dummy.

Under your standards it is okay for a husband to cheat so long as he is not a president nor running for president.

What a douchebag.

Nobody said that, idiot. But keep trying to put words in my mouth, little man.

In his statement, Edwards said something about her being older and she'll understand....yeah, his daughter will understand what a legend-in-his-own-mind her father is, what an absolute d-bag he is...
