Which leader would you think would be the best choice for the future of our country? Republicans have nothing to offer than more Bush---Democrats have nothing to offer but more Obama.

Bush.

Did you vote for Bush when you had the chance? How about McCain?

Bush in 2004 McCain in 2008. Too young for Bush in 2000.

It'll be very interesting to see the results but I'm sure by a 2-1 margin it will be Obama FTW.

Obama

If I were American.. which I'm not... I would go for Bush if the only other choice was Mister Useless.

I evened the score to 50-50.

"Bush in 2004 McCain in 2008. Too young for Bush in 2000."

Wait'll 2012 and you'll be able to boast a trifecta of losers.

Obama of course, how soon these people forget who took us into Iraq and ran up the debt. And those who say McCain....there's just nothing I can say, mind boggling.

"How soon these people forget who took us into Iraq...."

They haven't forgotten. These are the people who liked that war. They liked it even for those many years Bush screwed it up. They won't let go of Bush now that a Democrat is president. If McCain had been elected you might have seen a bit more honesty.

If Marvin the Martian ran against Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd ..... would you vote for Bugs Bunny or Foghorn Leghorn?

#10 | Posted by vernon

I was always partial to Yosemite Sam.

Silly and stupid thread.

What retard started this?

Oh, wait, I see ......

Up next from the Big Boob ......

If the Enterprise III got into a firefight with Babylon IV, and suddenly((!!)) the battle was joined by Lexington II and Banana XX ...........

Are we talking about near the end of Obama's campaign or judging by what he's managed to accomplish and not accomplish since taking office?

See...if we're talking pre-2009, I'd vote for Obama because there was at least the illusion of change from one corporate whore to another corporate whore.

If we're talking post-2009, I'd vote for Bush because, well, Obama hasn't really proven that he's any different from Bush. Still in Iraq. Escalating in Afghanistan. Still using rendition and warrant-less wiretapping (and probably secretly still using "advanced interrogation techniques) and the patriot act is still in affect and he's still using signing statements and executive orders to bypass the will of the people's representation and do what he "feels" is right.

If we're talking in, say, 2011 or 2012...probably Obama because, well, he's got nowhere to go but up at this point.

So I didn't vote in your stupid little poll that you'll use to make one of your lists that you'll store in you tin-foil lined filing cabinet to only, one day, pull out and say "see, I told you so".

Why don't you start your own country since you want there to be two Americas?

Bigfoot as my write-in vote.

The other guy would have to be Bin Laden or a Child molester for Bush to win again.

Why don't the republicans ever run somebody like Chuck Hagel? He is a good moderate.

"Silly and stupid thread."

Which you not only visited but revisited.

There are always more than 2 options and I would go with a 3rd or 4th option..

I'd prefer some other choice right now.

Obama. Center right is still better than far right. Indeed, center may not be the left, but it is left of the right. I first penned that (it was published) when Clinton was called the best we libs could get. herm

Paul and Trafficant.

BTW, how many troops are still in Iraq one year later?

There are always more than 2 options and I would go with a 3rd or 4th option..

Not in this poll. If you want a poll with a 3rd or 4th option--start it yourself.

This is a simple poll to see how many would still prefer Bush over Obama. As usual, few of the rightists can make a plain statement.

I believe this poll will show the results of the 2012 election. As stated, the republicans have nothing to offer but more Bush, and the dems have nothing to offer but more Obama. I believe the country will stick with a poor Obama continuation over a terrible Bush continuation.

W, in an African minute.

I think the lack of interest is your answer. People would abstain from voting because they don't like the choices. Fitting, no?

BBob

You are fucking kidding right? Are you seriously suggesting that any American in his right mind would vote for Bush knowing how things turned out?

But to answer your question I am voting for the "Shit
Sandwich" this time.

"This is a simple poll to see how many would still prefer Bush over Obama. As usual, few of the rightists can make a plain statement."

The very first poster said Bush. Your reply was did you vote for Bush and McCain? Maybe you should change the thread to include others. Of course that would go against your other retort there are only two options. But of course only the righties can't make a "plain statement" unlike yourself.

Bush, which is a sad commentary for Obama. I disagreed with almost everything Bush did. Yes, including the invasion of Iraq and all the spending. I realize that most here lump me in with far right conservatives, but that's just because of their own blindness. But Obama is far, far worse than Bush was, and has no consideration for anything the people want. That's why Mass. happened. Will he wise up? Doubtful.

Third party, again.

I think the lack of interest is your answer. People would abstain from voting because they don't like the choices. Fitting, no?

You are mistaken. That WILL be the choice America has to make in 2012. Who in the republican party offers anything different than what Bush offered? Are you saying you have no preference? Then sit home in 2012, and save your energy.

Obama in a heartbeat. I think he is a shaping up to be a GREAT president. The fact that so many rightwingers hate him so much only reinforces my perception of that fact.

You are fucking kidding right? Are you seriously suggesting that any American in his right mind would vote for Bush knowing how things turned out?

There are millions upon millions out there who want to "take our country back" to the Bush years. I wondered how many on the DR felt the same way. As you can see, thee asre more than a few.

Funny thing about a question like this is that, given the disdain so many conservatives feel for GWB, the results don't necessarily reflect the division between Cons/Libs. If anything, it reflects the division between self identifying Reps/Dems.

The very first poster said Bush. Your reply was did you vote for Bush and McCain?

I simply wondered if he had voted for Obama and changed his mind, or whether he had always been a rightist.

Maybe you should change the thread to include others.

There are no other choices to be made.

Of course that would go against your other retort there are only two options. But of course only the righties can't make a "plain statement" unlike yourself.

True--I made a plain statement. Voting for McCain was the same as voting for Bush. Voting for Romney or Pawlenty or even Brown is the same as voting for Bush. Did you vote in this poll?

LOL. Do you really think anyone believes you? Really? With a screen name like rightisright, and you want people to think you vote 3rd party---essentially wasting your vote, when you vould be helping the right win elections? Please stop insulting us with that crap.

Then sit home in 2012, and save your energy.

#31 | Posted by Buffalo_Bob

I appreciate your consideration, but since Bush won't be running in 2012 I'll make my choice then.

#35...

I think it is quite obvious who I would choose in your poll which only has two choices. Well until someone votes then you want to expand it to include____________??? Seeing as anyone on the right is just another Bush, why not change it to a "plain statement" of repub or Obama?

Obama in a heartbeat. I think he is a shaping up to be a GREAT president. The fact that so many rightwingers hate him so much only reinforces my perception of that fact.

Too bad America disagrees will you 46% and falling.
I would vote for Colonel James Braddock before any other candidate

I appreciate your consideration, but since Bush won't be running in 2012 I'll make my choice then.

Bush will be running in 2012, just like he ran in 2008. There will be zero difference in policy, no matter which republican wins the nomination.

Good luck running against Bush in 2012.

Actually, it will be Obama against the Bush agenda running in 2012.

I'd vote the same way I did in 2008: NADER. (And yes, I know he still wouldn't win but voting for a guy because he's probably going to win is more idiotic than not voting at all if the guy is going to do a shitty job.)

Obama lost my vote when he voted for Bush's bailout as a Senator and he's only gotten worse since being elected.

When this country was great, we would have strung up someone like Bush.

Too bad America disagrees will you 46% and falling.

November 2004 proved that our nation had indeed become a nation in which the fools outnumbered the well-informed, at least in terms of active voters. That was when those who know nothing of history doomed the rest of us to relive it.

Something happened in November of 2008. When briefly the fools were slightly outnumbered for once by those who really understood the importance of what was happening in their lives and the relation of this generation to History and to the future generations of this great nation.

I am afraid that moment has passed forever.

Of course, another proof of that is the popularity of Fox News.

LOL. Do you really think anyone believes you? Really? With a screen name like rightisright, and you want people to think you vote 3rd party---essentially wasting your vote, when you vould be helping the right win elections? Please stop insulting us with that crap.

Actually, I told everyone I was going to, and I did. If you weren't busy counting smokestacks on the moon and CIA dynamite packs in WTC 7, you might have noticed.

Not that I care. I decided I would no longer play the patsy when the choice is between two reprehensible candidates. And in 2008, that's just what the Dems and the Repubs gave us.

Yeah right---you go to a personal attack with lies to prove your point. Facts are you voted for Bush and McCain---otherwise, you would have had the integrity to stay the fuck off this thread. This thread asks a simple question---if you can't answer the question, take your trolling ass down the road. Simple isn't it.

Am I the only one who would vote for W?

I voted for Bush and McCain... I would vote libertarian if I did not feel that I would be wasting my vote.

As I have said before. In the end, when we look back we will see that Obama and the Dems did far more damage to our country than Bush and the Repubs.

" The fact that so many rightwingers hate him so much only reinforces my perception of that fact.

#32 | Posted by moder8"

So many leftwingers hated Bush. I hate to think that hatred of a man makes him great.

Wisgod, I'd vote for Bush between the two. Why?
I think what I've heard is right. With Bush you know what you had in front of you. Bush was not transparent. He was blunt.

I wonder if 'a Perot' will come forth again. It makes sense that America would be ready for a strong third. Perot could have won if he hadn't dropped out when he was just getting interesting.

"essentially wasting your vote, when you vould be helping the right win elections?"

Wow, somehow my vote in California helped Bush twice and failed with McCain? All this time I thought they were wasted votes. Thanks for the clarity Bob.

Voted for Bush in 2000.

By 2003 I'd renounced my Republican membership and re-registered on the voting rolls as an independent.

In 2004 I voted for John Kerry as an ABB voter = ANYBODY but Bush.

In 2008 I voted for Obama.

I would NEVER vote again for GWB -- not even for dogcatcher.

Nor would I vote for any other Bush -- like brother Jeb.

Although I do feel the father, George H.W. Bush, is a good and decent man.

Our country is still trying to recover from GWB's eight disasterous years in office. Bush only cared about corporate interests and big business -- even to the point of bragging about it. Bush didn't give a damn about the individual citizens of our nation which he made more than clear during his eight years as President.

No matter how others will try and spin it now in a lame attempt to salvage his legacy, GWB did an awful job - unless you had "Inc." after your last name.

"Who Would You Vote For?"

Paris Hilton

It was only Methuselah selecting Bible Spice for veep that forced me to vote for another fucking lawyer.

Richard Nixon made me swear off lawyers, even smart ones who can pronounce "nuclear."

But that pitifully stupid ignorant lunatic from Alaska was too much.

Sorry folks but it's been downhill for the United States of America since Andy Jackson. It's only an accident of geography, relative philosophy and luck the we find ourselves here.

America, lowest IQ in the industrialized world.

China, among others, has a self concept as a culture that spans thousands of years.

I have to disagree.
Sincerely, Wisgod, Inc.

The only advice I'll ever listen to from you is how to lose everything and live under a Bridge and ask for help.

For fuck's sake, quit holding it in! That's bad for you.

From the looks of this poll, I don't think Obama has anything to worry about in 2012.

Just keep thinking republicans have anything to offer different from the Bush years. The choice is clear. By the time 2012 rolls around, health care will be passed, we'll be out of Iraq and Afghanistan, and the economy will be rolling.

This pol shows that even rightists don't support Bush. Look at the posters. Look at how many rightists are on this thread as opposed to liberals---then look at the poll results.

Obama of course, how soon these people forget who took us into Iraq and ran up the debt.

Taking time out of your busy Global Climate Change Crusade?

The answer would have to be Obama because Bush should be locked up in federal prison.

60-40 is closer than I thought. Consider this is a liberal site and more posters are liberal than conservative on here.

Voting is probably the biggest waste of time ever. I always tell people that I have to "go vote" as an excuse to sleep in. Or to come in late. The reality is that elections rarely go the way I want, but getting extra sleep pays off 100% of the time.

Turn on, tune in, drop out.

Do you have a roll of those "I voted" stickers they hand out and just stick it on your coat when you arrive to work?

I'm sure you use this for primaries, midterms, all elections.

I can't participate in that poll because the answer is neither one. The would be like a choice between cutting off your right foot or your left foot.

I'd vote for a homeless person or satan first.
Either one would be a better choice.

You are mistaken. Only the owner of the site makes this site a liberal site. It has been shown several times that the site has more right wingers than liberals.

I dont know how it has been shown, I'm surprised there hasn't been a poll out showing that yet.

If you use this as the poll, it would appear that there are more Dems than Reps on this site, by a 60-40 margin.

What other criteria do you use other than your own perception?

Hypothetical elections?

Woo Hoo! That means Spud gets a hypothetical vote!

If Bush ran against Obama?

Kidding right?

Not kidding?

Obviously Obama by a huge margin.

Bush was the Worst POTUS EVAR.

Now if it was a question of electing Bush or Zombie Hitler it'd be a pretty tough call.

Spud'd really hafta look over Zombie Hitler's position paper first before coming to any decision there.

Prolly just end up writing in "Doctor Who" there.

Be Well.

Prolly just end up writing in "Doctor Who" there.

You would write in a humanoid alien?!

I would vote for Hitler over Obama. At least we wouldn't kiss the terorists ass . Obama is America's first bisexual Prez

I would vote for Hitler over Obama.
-Timbecile

Why does this not surprise me?

Neither. Thus, I would be able to b*tch about either choice with a clear conscience.
