"In many ways the campaign in Massachusetts became a referendum not only on health care reform but also on the openness and integrity of our government process. It is vital that we restore the respect of the American people in our system of government and in our leaders. To that end, I believe it would only be fair and prudent that we suspend further votes on health care legislation until Senator-elect Brown is seated."

How about that! Jim Webb is a VA(D). Semper Fi Sen. Webb

And he didn't say "macaca"....

That is because he is down with the pro corporate health company bill that the Senate passed.

House Dems have already said this bill is dead. Rob is back? I thought he was gone for good.

Rob!!!!!

I would hope that before they start over with healthcare Congress acts on other issues they have left on the backburner for some time now. Namely tax extenders, a compromise on the estate tax, a consensus on cap and trade/carbon tax, renewable energy standards, etc.

Webb wants to be re-elected!

That is because he is down with the pro corporate health company bill that the Senate passed.

AND HOW ABOUT THOSE UNIONS with the latest deal...shouldnt you consider that obama is DOWN with union thugs and crooks???? or is your reasoning partisan and one sided?
isnt there even a CHANCE that he sees that he might LOSE HIS SENATE HEALTH CARE if he kisses reids and obamas ass???????
