House members returned from their recess over the holidays today, and health care legislation was the number issue on the agenda. The Senate race in Massachusetts, though, could change the dynamics of the debate, should GOP State Senator Scott Brown prevail next week. The Democrats risk losing their 60-seat filibuster proof majority with a Brown win.

Ala Norm Coleman.

Barnie Frank reacted to an outright lie on the part of Brown. He started the rumor himself:

:the Brown campaign has already charged that Massachusetts Democrats will find a way to keep Mr. Brown from being certified,"

I hope Brown wins and it forces the Dems to delay his certification. It will make for some interesting lawsuits if they pass health care. The only answer is to bring the gov't down and restore the Articles of Confederation

Boy, Barney has a lot on his plate: The reform of the financial industry (a mess he helped create by requiring the shameful Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac to buy purcahse more bad mortgae loans); passing the mysterious healthcare reform bill that will only assure that our kids have a worse quality of life and fewer opportunites than we have (as a bankrupt nation); and, oh yeah...running that male prostitution ring out of his townhome. I know he's been busy, but I hope he had the time to pay taxes on that income?

They have to certify within 15 days of the election.

This is about Feb 3rd.

The SOTU speech appears to be the week after the Superbowl Feb 7th.

They want to vote on the HC bill before the speech.

So it depends on when they can vote on the HC bill.

And the best defense is a great offense.

So Brown is bringing up the obvious about MA and when they will certify the election.

Brown has to win first to make a difference.

I'm stunned at how much bullshit one person can fit into a single post.

"So Brown is bringing up the obvious about MA and when they will certify the election."

Except that the only one's saying they would delat certifying the election, in the event of an unlikely Brown win, is Brown and his own campaign. He is using this issue as a capaign talking point, it's a complete fabrication but hey, that's just fine with Murphy, whatever works, right Murphy?

I'm saying a prayer every night for Mr. Brown. I may even attend Service on Sunday.

"So Brown is bringing up the obvious about MA and when they will certify the election."

So this POS Brown is making shit up and then pretending it is virtually a fact and using it as a campaign issue. Brown is a lying scum bag and this story proves it.

Oops. Just donated $120 to Brown campaaign. Danni inspired me

Danni, here is the story quoting the Sec of State saying he would wait until Fed to certify the election

www.breitbart.com

There have been so many changes to the law in Mass to keep Republicans out that I don't discount anything from the Mass Dems.

Yes, the Mass. SS has already indicated that it might take "weeks" for all the precints to report in, and then they have 15 days to certify...

**Cough**

Dems should really tell this moron not to give away the ending. Spoils all the drama.

I see how it works now!!!

When you are talking about a Conservative, then made up BULLSHIT is the truth (i.e. Palin)

When you are talking about a Liberal, then the truth is bullshit.

When will this bullshit end?

When Barney is upset, don't stand in front of that lisping Liberal. You'll get a bath.
