I do see the possibility for exceptionally long trains being used to control the masses but not for the reasons some of these boneheads theorized. A few dozen three or four mile train could block a lot of intersections very quickly and created a controlled gridlock very quickly if planned out in advance. The military would have no trouble blocking the freeways. Nobody would be going anywhere if the 'bad guys'(whoever they are) planned it out well enough.
