This on top of the fact that many juveniles are convicted without the protections that adults have.
Some examples would be: They are not allowed to know whom makes accusations against them, whom has testified against them and what said testimony is. Even their attorneys are deprived of said information. Add to that the fact that many states allow those whom work in juvenile facilities to work under protected status using assumed identities(same as an undercover narcotics officer). Try and seek justice under such a situation, damn near impossible. If you do not know whom has harmed you, you are out of luck. Add in the fact that the authorities take the word of an state or correctional employee as gospel truth, depriving many of even the opportunity to defend themselves.
Also, many are convicted for things other than actual crimes, under such vague terms as simply delinquent.
That, in fact, is how Steven Spielberg stole the story Star Wars in March 1974, from one of his students when he was a teacher at a facility here in Columbus, and then told his superiors that the child then tried to escape, ensuring the young man would be incarcerated for an additional 7 months. It also provided him with a plausable cause for abruptly quitting his job, then transfering what he stole to George Lucas in May of that year.
No matter how you look at it, violating a child in such fashion, producing or engaging in false witness against him, conspiring to steal protected intellectual property, all of wich is criminal under state and federal statutes. That is child abuse, and ol' Stevie boy and his punk bitch georgie are going down. Perhaps they'll get to play lead as town bike in a federal penitentiary.
But Spielberg fucked up in December of '08, when, durring an interview he addmitted for the first time in more than 35 years, on CNN no less, that he was once a school teacher, and his former victim identified him to the FBI.
The worst part of it, is that this kid tried for more than 2 years back then to get the state of Ohio to investigate, and all they did was drug him up and keep him in the company of perverts and other despicable adults with agendas other than trying to straighten him out.
And yes, i've read the original short story that was stolen from him, and it is now in the possession of the FBI, and they are not arresting him (the former inmate). We are both confident that no one ever knew Spielberg was a teacher, and hid more than a year of his life from everyone, except bitch boy george lucas.
This kid owns both these men and their entire careers of the last 35 plus years. He is certain he'll get his day in a federal courtroom.
He deserves it. He has known since 1979, the year he was finally released from custody of the state, what happened to him, he just couldt identify Stevie boy. We think that is why Spielberg dyed his hair and wore a mustache and beard for most of his life, so he could not be identified.
