Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Tuesday, January 05, 2010

The fertility doctor who Nadya Suleman claimed helped her conceive her brood of 14 has been formally accused of negligence and violation of professional guidelines by the California Medical Board. The state licensing body said Monday that Beverly Hills fertility doctor Michael Kamrava acted "beyond the reasonable judgment of any treating physician" by repeatedly providing fertility treatment to a woman identified in the complaint only by the initials "N.S."

Dr. Kamrava defended his actions, stating that the possibility of octuplets was normally inconceivable.

inconceivable.

The problem was insurmountable?

Her defenses were impregnable?

Yes, stopping now.

In Spud's defense USN started it. :>P

Be Well.

inconceivable.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Very good, Spuddie!

I think the thing that bothers me most about Kamrava's role in all this was that he did not immediately tell Octopussy that she was nuckin' futs for wanting more kids when she already had six and no money coming in.

Kamrava's involvement in the moral/ medical/ ethical decision to perform the procedure basically seems to have come down to... Did the cheque bounce?

No?

Go time!

Apparently, there is a new word to describe people like the "Octopussy" (luff that one, btw :D).

Bumpaholic.

www.nydailynews.com

Addicted to being pregnant due to the attention it garners you, the hormonal mood swings, the clear and definite societal role you project, all that.

Zany, huh?

Spud luffs learnin' hisself some new wordage.

Laws yes!

Be Well.

/KK, nuff nattering fer now, exiting the exacting Retort now as a tater do

It's Beverly Hills "do no harm that raises premiums".

What are they going to do about it, suspend his license?

How about stick him with child support for eight for next eighteen years. Under California Law, the award sets a lower limit on the needs of the child, with zero consideration for a Father's costs to keep a job or roof over his head, but the upper limit is set by the Doctor's income (X8!), that could easily be $16-32 thousand per month. You think maybe that would get the fertility Doctors' of this world's attention?

BRILLIANT! I love that idea - this "lucrative practice" can easily cover the bumpaholics they have constructed.

That's not EXACTLY as it works, but its still pretty bad if he had to pay child support. You get discounts after kid 1. And lets not forget, the number isn't 8. Its 14 kids he gave her, isn't it?

What do you mean not exactly? Its much worse than I have mentioned.

The Courts have a conflict of interest created by Clinton. Every dollar they collect alledgedly for the child (which goes to the mother) is matched with one Federal dollar. The system seeks sources of cash without regard to parenthood or whether the alleged Father has to live out of the trunk of his car. If he is activated to Iraq, Court backlogs will prevent him from seeking a reduction and he can be jailed for failing to pay the ordered amount while on active duty. The Courts pay lip service to the "bests interests of the child" but put the financial interests of Attorneys, Counties and professionals including Judges and Psychologists first. The parents time is worth nothing but the Lawyers time is sacred and just below the Courts but above the shrink.... They are a bunch of hypocritical greedfuckers, full of themselves and the wonderful closed market they have created for themselves. They don't give one shit about children, except maybe their own.

That Federal dollar going to the Counties child support enforcement agencies. Its a real and imaginary cash cow with tens of billions in California uncollectable yet piling up daily with penalties.

"beyond the reasonable judgment of any treating physician"

Did he make a buck on it? That's all that matters. Obama's birth panels will prevent any doctor from helping a poor woman be the baby factory God intended for her.

Don't blame me for your fertile imagination, Spud :)

Too bad this was too late for Christmas. Could have related Kris Kringle's surprise at all the Octo residence stockings hung by the chimney with care. Imagine one of the elves saying, "Yes Santa Claus, there IS a vagina"

"Obama's birth panels"

Now there's a concept I could get behind.

Especially if they refused all permission to anyone in Florida.

It was God's negligence to put a womb in that pitiful excuse of a human being.

Octopussy - LMFAO

It was God's negligence to put a womb in that pitiful excuse of a human being.

Or a sick joke.

"It was God's negligence to put a womb in that pitiful excuse of a human being."

Don't blame God - that womb was just as dysfunctional as Octopussy herself until the doc came a-meddlin'.
