1. Not giving Senator Lieberman the boot from the Democratic Party. I understand the reasons why, but the guy has no business actively seeking to undermine the crown jewel of the President's agenda for self serving bogus reasons and yet claiming to somehow be a Democrat.

2. Bowing to foreign kings, emperors and sheiks. This is America. The home of egalitarian democracy. We don't bow to monarchs.

3. The poor screening process done prior to making certain high level Executive appointments. There is no reason so many tax cheats and even a 9-11 Truther ever slipped through the cracks.

It was actually a challenge coming up with tens things. But I did it. As for everything else, I either agree with him, or understand that in order to achieve anything in politics certain compromises HAVE to be made.

Bowing to foreign kings, emperors and sheiks

But But it really was not a complete bow even though the top of his head came in contact with his crotch...

The Left...

Good list, but number 1 isn't something that the President should do, the Dems in the Senate should kick him out of their caucus.

As for him being kicked out of the party, he already was and beat Nedlamont in the 2006 race.

He should have fired Napolitano in the immediate aftermath of last week's attempted attack

But But Napolitano said "the system worked"...

The Left...

I'm with you on these:

1.) Failing to close gitmo.
2.) Failing to secure the southern border.
3.) Failing to make good on campaign promises to address equal rights for homosexuals.
4.) Failing to prosecute the Bush administration's crimes.
5.) Failing to make good on campaign promises related to the restoration of civil liberties.

I would add:

6.) Front-loaded withdrawal in Afghanistan.
7.) Accepting the Nobel Peace Prize.
8.) Trillions of dollars in deficit spending.
9.) Wasting his political capital as an incoming president on healthcare reform.
10.) Failure to make Latin America a priority in US foreign policy.
11.) Continuing the massive waste of time and money known as the drug war.

The poor screening process done prior to making certain high level Executive appointments. There is no reason so many tax cheats and even a 9-11 Truther ever slipped through the cracks.

But But Tax Cheats and 9-11 truthers, Balance out the ticket...

The Left...

There is no reason so many tax cheats and even a 9-11 Truther ever slipped through the cracks.

Tax cheats are a dime a dozen in DC, but who's the truther?

Van Jones...

Van Jones...

Well ain't that nice.

"In a statement issued Thursday evening Jones said of "the petition that was circulated today, I do not agree with this statement and it certainly does not reflect my views now or ever."

He did not explain how his name came to be on the petition. An administration source said Jones says he did not carefully review the language in the petition before agreeing to add his name."

The last thing Obama needed was the Van Jones Story to break. Whoever was supposed to screen this guy must have been asleep...

5.) Failing to make good on campaign promises related to the restoration of civil liberties.

Now should a post a thread about the 1000 things President Obama has done which I do agree with? :)

#12 - what? Are you his barber?

#12 - you're implying he's done over three things a day for this country.

"for this country" should be amended to " to this country"...

Just saying...

...Which is why you are not a supporter of President Obama and I am...

Well Maybe Fred Sanford. ...

Lamont you big Dummy why did we vote for him anyway, Now I have to call my empire a church to avoid all these higher taxes, and your aunt Ester will be here all day and all night you big Dummy...

Well Moder,I am sure you will change your tune because:

"Iron Chef' Does the White House"

"First Lady Michelle Obama has challenged Iron chefs Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse to a Super Chef Battle at the White House. The Iron Chef stars will be pitted against White House executive chef Cristeta Comerford, and Bobby Flay. The two-hour special will premier Sunday January 3rd, 2010 at 8pm."

And just when you think you weren't seeing enough ObamaTV. And Michelle will be wearing these as well:

Don't forget! This Sunday at 8.

Moder8 is increasingly schizophrenic. Half of the time a neo-con, the other half a staunch left butt kisser. In true neo-con fashion, you bring up relatively meaningless points while having nothing to say about his warmongering or constitutional shredding ways.

Btw, you'll likely get some form of #6,10.

You gotta be f%&*ing kidding me....

LRon: I've said it before and I'll say it again. Stop trying to narrowly categorize people as neocons or liberals. Many of us straddle the divide depending on the issues. Is that too hard for your brain to comprehend? For example, on issues in Muslims, I tend to be very critical of their intentions and their beliefs. And with regard to Israel, I fully support their right to defend themselves and believe it is appropriate for USA to continue assisting Israel. I also do believe that many on the Left have sought to push the whole pro-choice stance as it relates to abortion to ridiculous extremes (3rd trimester elective abortion) that no moral or sane person should agree with. Do those positions make me a "neocon"? If you think so, you are not very sharp.

Wow, the hypocrisy!

While I appreciate what you state (if it were true), I do not believe in such categorizations myself.

On the other hand, we are all fully aware your posts do exactly what you are falsely claiming -- broad-brushing conservs and libs.

I guess if you say so it must be true. I'm sure goaty will be eager to agree with you.

Zombie,

Aren't #2 and #11 sort of contradicting each other?

Unless you're saying you want to see the southern border patrolled to stop people, but if someone is stopped with drugs, then it's..."ok come on through...you're just bringing drugs...that's ok"?

Unless you're saying you want to see the southern border patrolled to stop people

I want to see the southern border secured because it will be impossible to make any headway with immigration reform before that step is taken.

if someone is stopped with drugs, then it's..."ok come on through...you're just bringing drugs...that's ok"?

Is the person a US citizen? Do he or she have a visa, work permit, resident alien status, or another legal reason to be in the country? If so, let 'em in with however much Acupulco Gold they want to take along for the ride. If not, the person isn't allowed to enter the country. Simple.

The problem isn't that Obama failed to do the things on your list it is that you stupid democrat fluff girls believed the incompetent communitiy organizer would do it in the first place.

Every morning you should wake up look yourself in the mirror and slap the shit out of yourself. Then you should go outside and apologize to everyone you find and promise to never vote again because you are just too stupid to see the truth!

"9. He should stop spending so much effort listening to what the GOP has to say. If he doesn't get it by now, the vast majority of GOPhers will reject his policy, no matter how far he bends over to accommodate their concerns."

Bwahahahahaaaaaa

1). He NEVER listens

2). He promised he would

That was the once sarcastic comment you hid, right?

he already was and beat Nedlamont in the 2006 race.

Yes and he did so by campaigning on the promise of universal health care.... hopefully that will be hammered home by his opponent in 2010.

Does that work for you?

Hopefully Obama attempts immigration reform and cap and tax in 2010. Nothing like burying incombents come November with their voting record

11: He didn't end the war in Iraq by the end of the year as he promised
