ER rooms up their staff on the coming of a full moon because they know they are going to busier than usual.
You believe what a skeptic tells you. I believe the facts of what actually happens due to a full moon. The moon affects our tides, so how can it not affect us in some way? We are made of water just like the oceans. Be as skeptical as you like, but it doesn't change the fact that a full moon affects people and their behavior.

Equally nice. I offer a contrary viewpoint, but your rebuttal is that you have an issue with me referring to links that agree with me???
I'm well aware of how entrenched your view is, which is why I offered the 'Power of the Google' for OTHER links to support my view (BTW, that Google search of "full moon myth" comes up with almost 65,000 hits!).
You might disagree with me, but how about backing that up with something more substantial than "any cop will tell you" or "ER rooms up their staff" (both of which are just so much 'hand waving' on your part since they are [at this point] simply unsubstantiated/unsupported claims from you).
You're welcome to provide a link, a report, data, statistics, analysis, (heck, SOMETHING) that backs up your belief in "the facts". If, what you say is true and so prevalent, likely you'll be able to deluge us with evidence.
Just to be clear, no one was claiming the moon has no effect. Your point about the moon causing the tides is true (BTW, for both water AND land). However, you claimed: "It actually does have an effect on people, and it's usually not in a good way. At least where the law and personal safety are concerned."
I did a Google search on "full moon myth" combined with "not a myth" and came up with THREE hits:
lmgtfy.com
Meanwhile, I'm more inclined to believe a skeptic, who provides multiple studies with data and analysis, than your anecdotal claims.
