House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Republicans in Congress came out of 2009 as political "losers," according to a new Gallup poll.

Half of the 1,025 nationwide adults surveyed rated Pelosi as a "loser" in 2009, while 39 percent deemed her a "winner."

Fifty-two percent also considered Republicans in Congress "losers," while 38 percent called them "winners."
