Howard Dean: Health Care Bill 'Bigger Bailout for the Insurance Industry Than AIG'
Top Democrat Urges Lawmakers to Kill the Bill and Start Over.

President Obama said he likes the Senate health care compromise and wants it passed by Christmas, but he faces a revolt from some liberals who say the health care bill has been gutted to appease insurance companies.

The video is in the link as well.

You know you are in trouble when the liberals are against the bill.

And Dean is right to call this politics versus doing what is right for the country.

I agree with his statement and, of course, for different reasons.

Hahahaha I love the addition of the scream.

I wish I could flag a headline.

Perfect.

I think I spelled it right. lol

Nice job, Murph. I hope Howard prevails.

When all of this health care 'reform' nonsense goes down in flames the winner will be the American people

Yeah, all us racists. Get ready for that horseshit.

Yeah, we will all continue to be ass raped by the richest corporations in history. Win/win, right? Riiight.

Those without insurance will HAVE to be ass-raped by corporations who make 1 dime per dollar instead of 2 dimes per dollar. More customers for the rich corporations!

CHANGE!

Has never crossed a state border, let alone witnessed or experienced what happens when the 'government is only trying to help' Can't wait for the DMV-caliber public servants to decide on his medical care

"When all of this health care 'reform' nonsense goes down in flames the winner will be the American people"

Nothing could be further from the truth. Health costs for workers rose 4X the rate of inflation over the last decade. They'll continue to do that, or worse, without some type of public counterpoint. We're in desperate need of health reform in this country, and this isn't it.

Kill it, start over, and this time, address the real problems: stemming medical inflation, covering everyone, wellness, and an unprecedented emphasis on personal responsibility.

BTW, what the fuck are you even talking about when you say "the richest corporations in history"?????

Insurance companies don't come close to that. Nor do hospital companies. Even BigPharm is a distant runner.

You are so completely stupid about everything you say that your posts are not relevant .... well. except to simple minded twits like Danni, ModerHate. and Let-U-Spray

But hey, it's really, really fun to write 'Riight'

ehh?

Kill it, start over, and this time, address the real problems:

There you go!

Politics is messy and inefficient, but in a crude way it works. It has stopped this horrific slop from being passed.

Perhaps in the next Congress we will see a series of small bills that address SPECIFIC problems of a system that otherwise works -- instead of some 1937-style Soviet takeover of 17 percent of the economy.

Let's hope for change

en.wikipedia.org

Current estimates put U.S. health care spending at approximately 16% of GDP, second only to East Timor (Timor-Leste) among all United Nations member nations.

So I'm thinking that if an exaggeration made on a message board whilst fucking off in my idle time, since teh internets is such serious bidness and all, makes me all that then you must be a complete fucking retard. Not like when you're screwing around and one of your buddies does something stupid so you call him a retard, more like a full blown short bus riding retard. You likely lay around in your own shit a lot of the time with socks taped over your hands so you can't gouge your eyes out of your head, riiight?

Hey, stop me if this sounds familiar, you are so completely stupid about everything you say that your posts are not relevant .... well. except to simple minded twits like. . . . fuck I'm drawing a blank because I like to tune every bit of retard out of my day every chance I get.

Funny, many of the words were 'english' but not a coherent thought, comment or question

You must be trying to say something?

You likely lay around in your own shit a lot of the time with socks taped over your hands so you can't gouge your eyes out of your head, riiight?

Hey, stop me if this sounds familiar,

Shocked Dan !!

And Harry 'the body' Reid is hiding the bill--the 'Manager's Amendment'.

No one knows what's in it or how much it costs.

But hey--vote on it anyway!

I cant believe that you guys still hold this over this wonderfull spokesman for american ideals

well unless you drive a truck in the south or you sweep a floor in some highrise..

I mean come on...who hasnt gotten thier shorts caught up in their crack before?

"Politics is messy and inefficient, but in a crude way it works. It has stopped this horrific slop from being passed."

We don't know if it has prevented this from passing but we do know that politics is why the proposal isn't a clear, clean simple bill which would actually serve the needs of the people.
Lobbyists make sure nothing good will be passed and simpletons like Vernon thinks that is good.

ah danni
before I go you just HAVE to let us in on your thoughts about all of the democrats who have told all of us that they care much more about the BIGPHARMA corporate BIG SHOTS now that they have denied cheaper drugs for YOU AND ME..

cant wait for your answer ...

ah but I here is my prediction of your answer.

you DONT LIKE IT at all but you will continue to support them....close.......??????????
????

"you just HAVE to let us in on your thoughts about all of the democrats who have told all of us that they care much more about the BIGPHARMA corporate BIG SHOTS now that they have denied cheaper drugs for YOU AND ME.."

Fuck 'em.

Better yet...make them use our health care. They talk about "Cadillac" plans, all they while there's is a "Limo" plan.

"you DONT LIKE IT at all but you will continue to support them....close.......?"

Wrong. I'm against any "reform" that doesn't address the problems I listed above, as well as tort reform, portability, and large risk pools. The worst thing that could happen is this crap is passed and they call it "health reform". It's nothing of the sort.

Sorry...I didn't comment specifically on the Pharma subject:

Fuck 'em. It was lousy when the Republicans screwed the public, but that's to be expected. For the Dems to do it is inexcusable.

The worst thing that could happen is this crap is passed and they call it "health reform". It's nothing of the sort.

They'll have headlines, and some campaign props for '10, and '12, and we'll still be the football.

"and we'll still be the football."

No wonder I feel like I've been kicked around toward some obscure goal.

I did not verify these statistics, but it doesn't matter, I'm a Libertarian and I want less government.

So for once in my life I agree with Howard Dean.
