Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Tuesday, December 15, 2009

In 2002, the Bush Administration was eager, almost desperate, to invade Iraq as part of a NeoCon vision of re-shaping the Middle East. Unfortunately, there were no facts to justify such a flagrant act. So they lied. Several times. First, they propagated a myth that Iraq had WMDs and there was reason to believe their use imminent. Second, through Cheney they pushed the lie that Saddam was somehow connected with the 9-11 attacks. To beef up the lies, they enlisted the aid British Prime Minister Blair.

Now that all is said and done, the truth has been exposed. But there are no prosecutions or other serious consequences. It is all basically deemed a fait accompli. A lie, which lead to horrific consequences, was successfully sold to the public by America's rightwing.

Or as Zat might say, "happy extinction..."

Yet chairman zero has multitudes of blogs dedicated to exposing his lies, including this one:

obamalies.net

Nanc, so your response isn't to deny that you all are engaging in lies, but rather to accuse the other side of lying on other matters as well? Wow. That's what children do.

It has gotten to the point where I now strongly doubt the problem of global warming agenda will be addressed

it's being addressed in Copenhagen . . .
record low temps & snow, the limos are hard to start, and hundreds of PRIVATE jets must be de-iced

The corporations and rightwing liars are winning

I know it's scary dude, ya may have to get a real job & produce something to survive instead of leachin' off taxpayers

hope & change

Between global warming and global cooling, I'll take warming any day. The idea of taxing and regulating CO2 could not be dumber. There's no harm in complaining about the weather. But tax it?

That's exactly what moder8 does! Pot meet kettle.

But tax it?

It's ALWAYS about the money...always.

But there are no prosecutions or other serious consequences.

Why haven't the Dem leadership pursued such a thing? Not even an investigation?
