Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs
Thursday, December 10, 2009

A "high-ranking" Al Qaeda figure was killed Thursday in an attack by a drone aircraft in northwest Pakistan, U.S. officials told NBC News. The officials did not identify who was killed, except to say that it was not Osama bin Laden. If the report is confirmed, it would be the first time coalition forces had killed a top Al Qaeda's supreme leader, figure in almost a year.

Guess all the #2 guys are dead. Where's Osama?

We've killed a bin Laden stuffed animal?

That will teach Al Qaeda members to attend weddings...

My super secret plan to capture bin laden didn't require the terible act of killing al quedians in Pakistan. If you elect me President in 2012, or even 2016, I promise to follow bin laden to the gates of hell, or even the door of Sarah Palin's our bus, ( if I'm extra brave that day).

Sincerely;

John McLost

In reality, it was a Pak drone; the US would never
dare tread in our noble air space. Have I mentioned
that our drones are superior to anything the US has?

LOL.

Regards,
Salad H. t0sser

A cab driver or something of that nature. To boost morale no doubt.

In reality, it was a Pak drone; the US would never

American drone, tasked by Pakistani spotters.

That's the way the game is played.

If it happened at all. LOL

Now things have gotten so screwed up, many times, they just make up pretend missions and then claim "we killed no.2, 2-and-a-half and 3!"

This is because, Pakistan has lowered it's level of cooperation.

Pakistani drones are only used on TTP (Pak-taliban).

Not on Al-Qaeda or Afghan-taliban.

Funny how our Nobel Peace Prize winning prez is OK with waging war on Pakistan without any rule of law, UN directive or world consensus, and somehow, everyone is OK with that. That, while the same people want Bush tried for "war crimes"...

Funny how our Nobel Peace Prize winning prez is OK with waging war on Pakistan

When a senior al-Qaeda figure was identified and located Mr Keller said that it would take weeks, often months, to build a case for an airstrike by a US Predator drone and even if the go-ahead was finally given by CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, the Pakistanis still had to approve. "Since 9/11, with 99 per cent of these strikes, the Pakistanis were consulted and they have to approve them," he said.

If we don't like the mission, the drone flies back.

Hell, in this regard Obama is so cooperative, he has even authorized full access to Pakistan when it comes to studying American drone technology. LOL

Democrats are always sell-outs. But hey, I'm not complaining! LOL

I thought the President wasn't that concerned with Osama Bin Laden?

Oh...wait....that was the last president that didn't care where the man who killed 3000 American civilians was......only 6 months after claiming "dead or alive".

However, like I said, there probably never was a mission. Now the only missions are pretend-missions.

So they announced they "got an important guy... but we can't tell you his name"..... hhahahahahahahahahaha

How stupid do you think we are? LOL

Your drone never left the runway.

American drone, tasked by Pakistani spotters.

That's the way the game is played.

If it happened at all. LOL

You should probably keep one eye up towards the sky at all times. Never know when you might be 'spotted'.

KA-BOOM!

"How stupid do you think we are?"

I seriously doubt you really want an answer to that question....
.

I love it when anonymous folks come here and drone on about how "in the know" they are. Come on now.

This is all public info, son. I am not leaking any secrets.

Sometimes anonymous folk actually have a valid point or two. But of course, they're just anonymous, right?

I love it when new people give their take on the situation, rather than read the same old drivel from LettuceSpray.

Gotta agree with Tosser, this is a bunch of hooooey.

Damn, OldWhiskeySour took the words right outa my mouth.

Too bad YS-1 is not here because this story also relates to Balochistan which he really wanted to talk about the other day and could not garner any interest in the subject at that time. Those B-stan insurgents must be insane to think that Pakistan would let them secede. But it sounds like an internal problem which would not be proper for US drones to be used for.

Great, one down 150 million to go.

I base that number on the fact that there are about 1.5 million muslims in the world. I guess a conservative estimate would be 10 percent of that number or 150 million ARE ISLAMIC RADICALS WILLING TO SUPPORT OR DIRECTLY PARTICIPATE IN VIOLENCE TO FURTHER ISLAM AND KILL THE INFIDEL.

The best the USA can do is have a very effective, covert, intelligence based war against these nice folks (please not a roll out the troops, conventional type war, wrong tactic). Also we must keep headchoppers out of the good ole USA. We should apprehend and deport ALL MUSLIMS ILLEGALLY (ILLEGALLY) IN THE USA.

So Barry is killing innocent women and children in the dead of night?

How long until Reid declarers the war is lost?

Ain't that a bitch?

Was this torture?

Did his Geneva rights get violated?

Sincerely, the Left

So where is McSame's Super Effective Plan for capturing Bin Forgotten? Seems to me that he is not doing his job if he is holding back.

"If we don't like the mission, the drone flies back."

Back when US bombers were flying out of Diego Garcia, they had to have the approval of "the crown" before they struck targets. Becuase they US was using a Brit-owned base, the Brits had final approval authority on targets.

This is standard procedure. You do not want to be accused of breaking international law at some point in the future.

Didn't Obama campaign by belittling drone bombs???

I don't believe a fucking thing that comes out of the Bush administration....

Isn't this the 50th time or so that we've killed the #3 man in Al-Qaeda? Upward mobility must be fantastic...at least to the #3 position.

US military folk figure that one of their drones has killed a "Top AQ figure"?

This guy?

Upward mobility must be fantastic

Especially in their suicide bomber department.

Pays great and the hours rawk but the retirement plan totally sucks.

Be Well.

Isn't this the 50th time or so that we've killed the #3 man in Al-Qaeda?

Some anonymous American official sez "it was Libbi" (DAWN).

"Libbi" is now an inside joke for "guy who doesn't exist".

Mushi first used "Libbi" in the sentence "Libbi tried to kill me!"

We gave the idea to the Americans.

Now whenever they want to shovel bullshit in your face, they say "we got Libbi".... like for the 50th time.

"Libbi" always comes back however.

Now I am sure there was no drone, no mission, no guy killed... there is just "we got Libby". Shut up and take it with sugar. LOL

"Libbi" is now an inside joke for "guy who doesn't exist".

Rollo Tomasi

Rollo Tomasi

LOL

In fact, Pakistan killed Libbi some years ago and then said "Wrong Libbi.... Sorry"... so hunt for Libbi re-started.
