A dyslexic, illiterate fireman, who needed a tutor and six months perpetration to memorize a simple test, and has a history of using the courts to further his career, is being promoted to a position that in an emergency would require him to read a map, coordinate recourses and make immediate life and death decisions.

Yup, that's a "victory" for whom? Frivolous lawsuiters?

It sure as hell isn't a "victory" to the residents who may depend on this boob when he will need to read a street name! When their hair is on fire, he won't have time to call his tutor!

The case was about people passing the test, and then it getting thrown out because not enough minorities passed it.

Did they get to wear their pointy hats at the ceremony?
