Take Senator Conyers advise literally - require written correspondence from advisers, particularly regarding Afghanistan.

Do you really think that Senator Conyers is too critical? I'm not sure I understand, who's painting whom? President Obama did call him personally and discussed the criticism in direct language. He's also been very gracious to the Right wing politicians, so I'm not certain how you view that as a negative.
