Lang Lang Excited to Play for Obama

Chinese pianist Lang Lang said Tuesday he feels honored that he will perform for President Barack Obama when he collects his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo this week.

The 27-year-old said he went from being "pleased" at being asked to play at the ceremony in Oslo City Hall to "really, really excited" when news broke that Obama was this year's laureate.

Cookfish thinks Lang Lang has a funny name. This coming from a guy who, when he was trying to come up with a blog user name, he decides on cook + fish. Okay, Boiled Sushi, or Pickled Herring, or Fish Fry, or Rotten Lutefisk, or Smelly Vietnamese Fish Sauce, or Raw Fish Guts Being Eaten by Crabs, let us agree Lang Lang has a weird name. The interesting thing is that he is 27 years old and is a superstar in his field. What is your claim to fame, Grass Carp ??? I mean, besides your accomplishments here in blog world. No wait, I don't want to know. Just please try to contain yourself, Can of Salmon.
