The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory caught a rare glimpse of the rubble covered walls and floor of the Pu`u `O `o Crater on Wednesday.
HVO scientists have posted the photos on their U.S. Geological Survey website updating the activity of Kiluaea Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii.
