Either Amanda Knox is guilty of killing or at least participating in perhaps even instigating the murder of her British room-mate or she's been railroaded by cops too embarassed to admit they picked up the wrong people in their initial sweep.

Its like the old Aesop's fable...Knox is judged guilty mostly on account of who she associated with!

From everything I have heard about this case, there wasn't any evidence and especially no DNA linking her to the crime scene.

She was guilty as hell and frankly is lucky she only received 26 years.

Should have fire squaded her.

Something stinks about this one. Where's the proof that She killed anyone??

Wrong. There was DNA, the defense claimed the DNA sample was too small, not that there wasn't any DNA.

She was found guilty Larry. You could say the same thing about any convicted murder. Perhaps you have a little fantasy thing going about breaking her out of jail?

A tough case, but a lot of circumstance (sp) evidence and certainly some direct physical evidence. The true motive may never be learned, however.

This case reminds me a lot of the Darlie Routier case from 1997 in Rowlett, Texas.

Sucks to be her.

The prosecution claimed that Knox went around and wiped her prints from the apt--carefully mind you--so as not to wipe the finger prints of the real killer.

Murphy pay for her to get an appeal and let her move in with you.

Amanda seems to have cracked under police pressure which led inconsistencies in an unverifiable final story. But the forensic evidence against her and her boyfriend is nonexistent. The prosecutors version of events seems as contrived as Amanda's. Where does he get off claiming she slashed the rape victims throat, after holding her to be raped? Its totally absurd. For one thing if there really was a three way conspiracy as the Prosecutor alledges, one of the three would have put all the pieces in their place with a full accounting before facing a 25-30 year lockup. Its impossible to keep a three way conspiracy completely under wraps, without Government involvement, support and threats. The police have all those tools and not a clue except for the rapist, who most likely acted alone.

No one of the three has betrayed the others.

Murphy, the only reason why you are calling for her innocence is because she was tried in Italy. If it was in the US you would be calling for a red hot poker to be jammed up her snatch before she was drawn and quartered as a death sentence. Just like any god fearin' christian republicans would.
