I know was joking in part about this thread, but I'd like people to state the basic rights of man.

When the Supreme Court used those words in the Loving case, it brings us to ask: what are they?

To claim a basic right of man means there must obviously be a consensus of what they are.

Otherwise, it's not basic but convoluted.

The Basic Rights of Man:

2. You have the right to disagree

3. You have the right to complain

4. You have the right to wish, dream, and hope

5. You have the right to disappointment and loss

6. You will learn to hate your rights

7. You will demand your wants should be rights

8. You will never accept another is as important as you are

9. You will be the star of your own life's story

10. None of these rights are guaranteed.

basically it comes down to this.

You have the right to make a choice and suffer the consequences of that choice and also enjoy the benefits of that choice.

You have the right to suck it if you do not make the choice and still desire the benefits.

Axe, I don't think you understand how the bible applies to this situation. The bible says you have the right to die and that is about it. Everything else is a gift. If you are gifted, then it would be wise to gift others, but free will gifts are not rights.

The moment those "fears" occur will be a better day for everyone. Ayn and Dean are fucking WRONG and have ZERO examples other than the current pay-for model which is FAILED.
