What a turd. He deserves this.

"Take my wife... please"

Jesus will help him win.

Cool. I like it.

I predict a partisan snipe in the first 10 comments.

Anyone for 5?

partisan to what? marital indiscretion? malfeasance, being a wingnut?

He needs to go away.

His term runs out in a year.

He wouldn't or won't be able to run again.

Sanford is an asshat. I can't believe that South Carolina has taken so long to impeach him.

King David never had to face shit like this.

Gov. Womanizer is about to get his just rewards!

Another GOP dark horse bites the dust. Who have they got left now? Certainly not that Bozo from Ohio, Congressman Kasich.

Monsterwoman, give it a break---dems have as many turpitudes (look it up)as repubs. It gets a little tiresome reading the same drivel from your side and the partisan repubs. It's a nonevent.

Then take a hike mophead

When it comes to politicians and greed, both Reps and Dems are equally venal.

When it comes to politicians and sex, generally Reps are worse if only because they tend to be so damn hypocritical on the issue. (e.g.: Sanford WAS a Family Values GOPher.)

it will be interesting to se if jesus steps in and defends him

A very valid point. Don't talk the talk if youre going to lie about walking the appalachian trail, or something like that.

Don't agree with a lot of your views but totally agree with this posting since it's not the usual partisan junk and couldn't be more accurate and "fair and balanced."

You're a mystic. Who would have ever guessed there would be political commentary on a political commentary web-site?

You're a mystic.

A regular fucking Kreskin.

I drove from Florida to Massachusetts in July - South Carolina was the only state where we were "welcomed" by a message from, and naturally, a picture of, the Governor. I always think that gives you some idea of what a person is like who just can't get enough of himself.

SITDOWN - I used to love driving through the IDOT EZPASS lanes provided by Governor Blagojevich. Isn't it nice when tax dollars are used to advertise for a politician?

Impeach him. Let the Dems be the party of this kind of stuff, where they get rewarded with re-election.

Get rid of the turd.

Isn't it nice when tax dollars are used to advertise for a politician?

Andyuhenet - and they constantly are. The signs they paint or print with every politician's name on it at every road works or school building etc.
Blatant misuse of funds to feed too many big fat egos (often attached to big fat people, too)

If he fucked up, he must be punished.

Lamont, you big dummy! This is all your fault!

You're a mystic.

A regular f*(^&%#g Kreskin.

Karnak supreme!!

lol

;o)

If he was a Democrat, he'd have resigned in shame long ago.

Conservative Republicans have no sense of shame, only entitlement.

,i>If he was a Democrat, he'd have resigned in shame long ago.

Like Blagovich did? ike Jefferson did?

Thank you for your usual mindless knee jerk response, northguy. The DR wouldn't be the same without people like you who allow blind partisanship to turn them into idiots.

Goatman is absolutely right. I listen to Blagojevich doing his radio show Saturday mornings on WLSAM Chicago and he is still passionate about his innocence. There is no shame in that man. Roland Burris is the same thing. He is as pure as the wind driven snow. Maybe you should include a "Chicago Democrat" (and New Orleans for Jefferson) caveat into your statement.

On a side note, as a Governor, Blago sucked. He is a great radio personality though, and his call screener does a fabulous job of keeping angry callers off the air.

Errr...Blago is on Sunday mornings, not Saturday.

On a side note, as a Governor, Blago sucked. He is a great radio personality though...

You hate him SO MUCH you continue to listen to his radio show?!? And praise his i pass lanes.

You hate him SO MUCH you continue to listen to his radio show?!?

I thought he made that clear. He said Blago is a great radio personality. Re-read his post. I think you missed that part. I think you also added the part about "hating him so much". I didn't catch that part in his post.

May I suggest a remedial reading comprehension course?

Spitzer comes to mind. So, on the other side, did Craig and Vitter.

Spitzer comes to mind. So, on the other side, did Craig and Vitter.

Yep, them too. But what does this have to do with your implication inm #26 that only republicans have no sense of shame?

You really need to get control of that jerking left knee northguy. It makes you look foolish

That will teach him...

...he should have became a Congressman instead.

He would still be in office today.

Sanford is an asshat. I can't believe that South Carolina has taken so long to impeach him.

They waited for the ethics investigation to be completed before proceeding with impeachment. That meant more ammunition.

Heaven fucking forbid the actually have some evidence to use in his impeachment hearings!

I personally don't care if the governor had an affair, that is between him and his wife. However, using public funds to enable the affair and deserting his office for a week to go romp with his South America squeeze, that should get him impeached. Having an affair should simply get him booted out of office next election as he ran as a family values candidate. Obviously, he meant for all of us to do as he says, not as he does.

But what does this have to do with your implication inm #26 that only republicans have no sense of shame?

Bush, Cheney and Palin.

Still haven't heard any righties apologize for them.

Let's put Sanford and John Edwards into a pit and chain them together. Major losers, both of them.

Still haven't heard any righties apologize for them.

???

I apologize for no one except myself. But your implication is right on the money. I see the left apologizing or making excuses for Obama daily.

I still don't see how this correlates to your #26, however. You seem to be saying that only republicans have no shame and won't resign when I named 2 high profile democrats who definitely fit that description.

Why not just admit you #26 was a knee jerk comment instead of floundering in stupid deflections, frank?

TRUE LOVE and a Government job just don't mix.

Goat-you should at least apologize for voting for them. Just think how much safer aqnd better the world would be if you and your ilk hadn't voted for the Failure-in-Chief and the Party of No in 2000 and 2004. No 9-11, no lost wars in Iraq and afghanistan, no financial meltdown...

But it looks like Comrade Sanford will end up working for Boeing. Gotta get something for all that communistic socialist welfare stimulus money given to Boeing:

Nov. 20 (Bloomberg) -- Boeing Co. may get as much as $400 million in incentives to build its new 787 Dreamliner factory in South Carolina, Governor Mark Sanford said in an interview today.

Lest we forget:

Doug Hampton, whose wife had an affair with John Ensign, said in an interview that the Nevada senator should "resign immediately," claiming that powerful Republicans and others on Capitol Hill have protected Ensign.

When Hampton sought help to stop the affair, he reached out to Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), who lives with Ensign in a house on C Street in Washington associated with a secretive religious group. After an emotional meeting with Coburn, Hampton says he was encouraged to forgive.

"[The people at C Street] think the consequences don't apply," Hampton told ABC News's "Nightline". responsibility. Because of pressure. Because of the "Those need to be dealt with differently. Because of the work that needs to be done... This is about preserving John, preserving the Republican party, this is about preserving C Street. These men care about themselves and their own political careers, period."

AND THE FAWKING TAX CHEAT RANGLE STILL SITS AS CHAIRMAN OF WAYS AND MEANS......

we will NOT let this go away.........

so let me ask

who is in position to hurt american taxpayers

sanford or rangle??

lets see........

I KNOW
I KNOW
I KNOW

I wonder why folks can't seem to make that last connection?

one guy is a republican and is a turd.
the other guy is a democrat and is a turd.

That's why all we get from gov't is shit.

who is in position to hurt american taxpayers

I KNOW
I KNOW
I KNOW

Let's see, aflac, the trail/whoremaster just gave Boeing $400 million+ of South Carolina taxpayer's money. Call it post impeachment job security. Just don't call it socialist stimulus money, becaue Sanford is against the government spending money on jobs. Just like he's for fidelity and marriage.
