I cant stand Rush. The way he talks is even annoying. He talks down to everyone as if hes on some fucking pedestal. Even the tone he speaks in on his show is that of an "I know everything and you know nothing, let me explain to you how it is since youre so stupid that you will never figure it out"

How can anyone, even those who hate him and only listen to fact check and criticize him, stand to listen to him???

The only time I listen to Rush is when I'm taking a trip with my wife---- she likes to listen to him--- I'll say one thing for him, a lot of his thoughts are original and he can make a great satire.

Back in the mid '90s my employer thought it was his God given right(tm) to enlighten us with DailyRush. Earplugs helped, but wasn't enough. Being forced to listen to mindless pap will eventually drive you away.

So many here are willing to run to Limbaugh's aid when he is criticized for the things he says. I would do the same for any self-described liberal or democrat who used someone they once described as a moonbat in their debate on an issue.

My thread probably would have had more comments when I posted it had I used a more appropriate title, but considering the circumstances I thought my title was apropos.

No wonder...the ACLU never "backed" polygamy, just like they never "backed" Rush: what they backed was a portion of our civil liberties that was being attacked.

In the polygamy case, the ACLU was concerned with the basic rights of the children & mothers in the Texas case. Only morons would equate that with 'ACLU backs polygamy'. Closer to the truth would be "ACLU backs motherhood".

I can't remember what Rush sounds like it's been so long, and can count on one hand the times i've heard him in my entire life, but I am certain he has to be telling the truth.
The reason I can say that is because a lot of people hate the truth and would much rather listen and embrace a lie, that's the reason OLoudmouth won the election.
