It seems that the Brett Favre-Green Bay Packers saga is such a worldwide phenomenon that it's being used by detainees in American military camps. According to a military official, detainees at a Wisconsin National Guard camp in Iraq are using Brett Favre as a manner of getting at the guard troops there. "They know Favre by name," said First Lieutenant Tim Boehnen, who is from New Richmond, Wis. "One of the big words they know now is shenanigan. They'll constantly talk about 'Favre shenanigans,' 'He's so good for the Vikings,' and 'The Packers have got to really feel bad about that one.'"

The Afghani's working the bazaar would shout "Hey Rambo" "Hey Die Hard" "Hey John Conner" to try to get us to their shop to buy their wares.

"No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time."

How stupid!

I don't know about that Lisa...we all know how those "cheese heads" looooove them some Brett Favre..(he said affectionately)..;)

Not as much as you think, Frank.

Favre contacted McCarthy to come back....the Pack agreed.

Favre changed his mind.

Favre again contacted McCarthy to inform him that he changed his mind again stating he indeed wanted to come back. McCarthy agreed.

Two days before the draft Favre called McCarthy AGAIN to say he changed his mind a third time. McCarthy.told Favre the press release was all set to go that Brett was back and asked him not to do this again.

Favre insisted he was sticking to his decision.

The Pack scratched the release and drafted.

After the draft, favre called AGAIN to say he wanted to come back. This time he was denied.

It was only after that instance, did Favre go public with how the Pack wouldn't take him back.

Lots of hard feelings there Frank.

Packer fans are loyal to their team...not so much ex players.

Farve will be in the playoffs with MN this year.

He is having a banner year.

For some reason we get to see MN games here in San Diego. (4 or 5 so far?)

And Lisa you are correct--we can love a player--but when they leave--for whatever reason--we stay with the team.

Princess Obvious checks in.

Even with Favre, I am not worried about the Vikings in the playoffs or even perhaps making it to the Super Bowl, are the Vikings, they will choke.

Yes, Favre and the Vikes will choke. It'll be Ryan Longwell missing the field goal this time, instead of Gary.

These detainees belong in a canal!

one wonders what detainees say about Charlie Weis??

off with their heads. problem. solved.

I fart in your general direction

As part of the United Nations decree, American soldiers are allowed one cultural insult for every one that Muslims say about Favre.

For Example;

'You are fucking the ugliest goat'.

'Your wifes clam has a better beard than you'.

'Who's running the 7-11?'

etc....
