A bloc of African American House Democrats, angry and worried that not enough is being done about high unemployment by the administration, forced the postponement of a much-anticipated vote Thursday on comprehensive financial regulation reform.

"Geithner's plan" = Republican agenda. This entire failout was instigated directly from the BushCo and is currently shuffled off via their embedded Fed buddies.

Take credit for this - less people actively capable of declaring bankruptcy means more jobs for debtors prison-keeping. Great going, "conservatives"!

Don't the African American House Democrats, know the administration is having a Jobs Summit, I mean give Obama a break, damn racists?

LOD, wasn't Geithner the mini-me of the Bernanke/Paulson/Sommers crew?

Of course that doesn't give Obama a pass for nominating him in the first place, but redlight isn't entirely wrong.

Absolutely.

Let's use "disingenuous".

If you had credited me with the above quote I would have flagged you as newsworthy.

Its my new thing.

That's like the third time I've laughed on DR today (#11).

Either I'm not as cranky today, or you all are bringin' the funny better. (I even laughed at rightwingers. *gasp* But that started last night.)

"That's like the third time I've laughed on DR today (#11)."

Glad to help, but I'm only really concerned about the FF.

LOL. I got you covered, but on #13, not #11

Right back at you.

Redlight was wrong because the whole point of his post was to give Obama the very pass you say he shouldn't have.

Acknowledging that Geithner was part of the same crew as the above mentioned wasn't Redlight's goal, only a flimsy pretext for what he really wanted to say, which could be summed up in his first and last sentences.
