We can have a means to adapt to any changes in climate without ever agreeing on whether or not man is causing or adding to the change in climate. In fact, it is probably the best course of action. But, instead, they're sitting idly by and offering up false solutions like carbon offset trading.

To me, and probably any other reasonable person, it doesn't really matter what is causing it. Sure, we should be doing things to find sources of energy that have less of an impact on the environment. Yes we should stop clear cutting entire forests. Yes we should not put pollutants into the water systems.

There's a list a mile long of things we should stop doing, and there are people in Washington, Democrat and Republican, who will fight you tooth and nail and claim it inconveniences their constituents. Their constituents being the facility owned by some corporate megalopoly that buys influence for pennies on the dollar. And then they'll give the issue of climate change/global warming a little lip service, get your blood worked up and fucking forget about you.
