Wonders if "Control" has given Robert McCall His first Heavenly assignment.

There will be a memorial for the 67-year-old, who spent 44 years in the program, at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Newport's main gym.

Hey, Snipe--just injecting real-people losses into celebrity news?

I rather like that. Every time we post a death of a celeb, we should insert a regular person notice...

Boy can't Eedward Woodward get some recognition by Himself just like every other memorial for someone. You don't have a memorial for another when You go to someone elses funeral or memorial do You???

Larry

He was the detective from the original version of "The Wicker Man". I never saw the "Equalizer".

Whatever. I'm glad he's dead.

If John Fullerton wanted his obituary on the front page of the Retort he should have taken out a classified ad and solved people's problems free of charge. Don't subtract from the Equalizer, man.

I thought I trained you -- what was it, yesterday? -- how to click on a link.

C'mon, kid, think. Think real hard.

"Breaker Morant," well worth watching. Woodward at his absolute best.

Larry, sorry the guy died, but what's with the man-crush?

Just loved the dude is all. Kived His attitude and everything. Sorry You don't understand Somoco.

I just watched the Wicker Man (two-DVD's in a wooden box, not a rip) as per my Halloween morning ritual and cannot imagine a better performer for Inspector Howie.

He switches from discomforted policeman to astonished innocent boy so naturally as he asks for the nonexistent Summerisle apples.

Rest in peace.

I also enjoyed The Equalizer.
