Liz Cheney suggests Cheney/Palin ticket in 2012

During a discussion about replacing President Barack Obama, former Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter Liz suggested that her dad might be a good Presidential candidate in 2012.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Liz Cheney mentioned her father's name as the panel discussed replacing Obama following his decision to respect the Japanese Emperor by bowing during a formal greeting.

Oh gwad! That would be bad. How about Mitch Daniels, governor of Indiana? He seems to me like a kickass guy who would do well in 2012.

Celisary, aint gonna happen.

Go Dallas! @ Green Bay! Has potential to be a really good game.

One good reason McCain lost was because of his health and age with Palin a heartbeat away from the WH, so now they want to nominate a guy who hasn't had a heart beat for years?????
You betcha!

Hey anyone with workout advice: I'm getting in better shape before summer and I've been ellipticalizing for the last 2 weeks, 45 minutes a day. I've missed 2 days in there, but otherwise it's more work than my lazy ass has done since late 2008. I haven't lost any weight, but I've been lifting too. Is it to early for results?

I'm wondering if maybe I've lost some fat but gained a little bit of muscle. My diet has stayed the same, and I've only drank heavily once in the past 2 weeks (which I took my dog for a 3AM jog in a drunken stupor) so I think that burned some beer calories.

Any thoughts?

LOL --Andy--that is funny.

You have to cut calories.

And 2 weeks is kinda' soon.

I have heard that guys do really well with Adkins.

Meat and protein--no starch (potatoes, rice or pasta are out).

Try that and no alcohol for 30 days to see if there are results with the workouts.

GO CHARGERS GO!!

Hey anyone with workout advice:

Don't worry about the scale, worry about how your clothes fit. If you can tighten your belt two notches, it doesn't matter if you haven't lost any weight. And I agree with the post above about the diet.

What happened to Dallas, LOL. Not that the Pack is lighting up the field.

Romo smells December.

Muffy giving weight loss advice.

Sadly comical.

Andy, Why so long on the elliptical?

Lift weights my friend.

You don't need to go heavy.

Start out with an upper/lower split.

An example:

Monday- Upper. Pick two exercises of 3 sets of 10 -12. per body part.

Tuesday- 20 mins. of cardio. Don't kill yourself, but put the magazine down and CONCENTRATE>

Wednesday- Lower. If you have never done them. DO NOT SQUAT. Do leg presses. Do hamstring curls (go light) and calves.

Repeat for Thurs. and Fri.

Chill on the weekend.

Building muscle burns fat. Eat fish, chicken, pasta and load up on veggies. Drink water.

As far as the weekend goes, enjoy yourself.

Oh yeah. If you've joined a gym, check out the Hammer machines.

REDMAN

Sold my Schwinn yesterday. Thanks for your help and that link on how to measure bikes.

Thanks, all!

Glad it worked out for you.

Are you getting a mountain bike then?

Get one of those old folks scooters CC and drive down the middle of the road in Larry's current Kansas hometown

Getting a decent car first. Been thinking of a Toyota RAV4. I want a car with lots of room in the back for camping gear and things. I don't need a one with a lot of passenger seats. Thought I'd look into a 2008 or 2009 used one. I've had good luck with Toyotas.

I've had three Toyota pickups and every one ran great and were easy to work on. I wish I still had the last one, it was a '79

You can't go wrong with Toyotas. They are reliable even if used.

The UAW can put that in their pipe and smoke it.

So, no sports news? What happened with the Fudgepackers vs Cowgirls game?

How bout that, Colts win. How amazing is Vegas. The line of this game was Colts by 1.

Still no word on KEITH204?

He went in for his serious operation -- the one which might have helped him walk again -- back in June. Hope he's okay.
