Imagine if you are a member of the house of representative how much this pisses you off if you voted for crap and tax. You will have to run for re election next year and your opponent (maybe even primary opponent) will run ads telling people how you want to raise their energy cost over a vote that went nowhere.

November is warm now simply because of the nor'easter storm that is kicking around the warm air. Once that anomaly goes away it'll be cold again.

Fact is October was the 6th coldest month on record for the US. Record breaking cold around the world. An exception doesn't make the rule. Overall it is colder. Your media bias didn't report that huh? Only cheery pick "strangeness" when it fits the agenda.

This "warm" weather is simply the calm before the storm. Happens every time.

Either way, as you witnessed, warmer weather is generally more prosperous, no?

Global warming will kill the gulf stream. This will trigger another ice age. First things will get better in Canad and parts of North America and then it will get worse.

I'll be long gone before the gulf stream dies.
