Eric Kleefeld: Some commentators on the right have been pointing to an interesting number that has been coming from the Rasmussen daily tracking poll, which Rasmussen bills as the Presidential Approval Index, which Scott Rasmussen only began bringing out in late 2008. I asked three prominent polling experts about this, and they all lambasted it.

well lets put it in the ole nutshell

it is when it says something you like and it isnt when it says something you dont like
does that about cover it?

I don't understand why people obsess over things they don't like. Fox News, Rush, Rassmussen, the liberal media, hollywood liberal morons.

You'll go through life a lot happier if you just ignore shit you don't think is credible or relevant. Don't like Rasmussen? Don't read anything into their polls.

Not content with the mockery that he made of himself yetserday in regards to Rasmussen, skizzits is back for more.

Damn, you're stupid.

As I spell "yesterday" incorrectly...

Thank god we can count on the relentless trolling of one dumbass while another dumbass sits out his 3 week vacation.

Their customers and premium subscribers seem to think so.

Well, it was tied with Pew Research for "most accurate" in the last election. Hard to discount it, unless you're an idiot.

Rasmussen has shown accuracy in counting votes. In formulating and asking objective questions in surveys? Not so much.

Which is particularly difficult since they robocall instead of operator call like most other polling firms.

You'll go through life a lot happier if you just ignore shit you don't think is credible or relevant.

......read the article....I did not write it.....

Chairborne is stupid every day. A liar with a musty act.

Only when you've run out of toilet paper.

......so you maintain that ignorance is bliss ?....

Being ignorant of what you deem an incorrect poll isn't a bad thing, you didn't think through your response to me. It happens.

Rasmussen is not to be taken seriously

Amen, dude.

Well, it was tied with Pew Research for "most accurate" in the last election. Hard to discount it, unless you're an idiot.

Except it really wasn't. CNN was closer in prediciing the final breakdown.

I guess if you repeat something often enough, the gullible will believe it.

Mathematics don't lie, but statisticians do.

4 out of 5 doctors can SUCK MY BALLS!

And for the record, Rasmussen's final polls had Obama ahead 52%-46%, which was nearly identical to Obama's final margin of 53%-46%, and made him one of the most accurate pollsters out there.

Chaircoward is not to be taken seriously. He is an obvious troll. He needs to freshen up his act though.

See if you can lambast this:

Total Personal Staff members for other first ladies paid by taxpayers:

Mamie Eisenhower : 1 paid for personally out of President's salary
Jackie Kennedy: 1
Roseline Carter: 1
Barbara Bush: 1
Hilary Clinton: 3
Laura Bush: 1

Michele Obama: 22

How things have changed! If you're one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers, prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q. Public:

Michele Obama's personal staff:
1.. $172,200 - Sher, Susan (Chief Of Staff)
2. $140,000 - Frye, Jocelyn C. (Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of Policy And Projects For The First Lady)
3. $113,000 - Rogers, Desiree G. (Special Assistant to the President and White House Social Secretary for Mrs. Obama)
4. $102,000 - Johnston, Camille Y. (Special Assistant to the President and Director of Communications for the First Lady)
5. $100,000 - Winter, Melissa E. (Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
6. $90,000 - Medina , David S. (Deputy Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
7. $84,000 - Lel yveld, Catherine M. (Director and Press Secretary to the First Lady)
8. $75,000 - Starkey, Frances M. (Director of Scheduling and Advance for the First Lady)
9. $70,000 - Sanders, Trooper (Deputy Director of Policy and Projects for the First Lady)
10. $65,000 - Burnough, Erinn J. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
11. $64,000 - Reinstein, Joseph B. (Deputy Director and Deputy Social Secretary)
12. $62,000 - Goodman, Jennifer R. (Deputy Director of Scheduling and Events Coordinator For The First Lady)
13. $60,000 - Fitts, Alan O. (Deputy Director of Advance and Trip Director for the First Lady)
14. $57,500 - Lewis, Dana M. (Special Assistant and Personal Aide to the First Lady)
15. $52,500 - Mustaphi, Semonti M. (Associate Director and Deputy Press Secretary To The First Lady)
16. $50,000 - Jarvis, Kristen E. (Special Assistant for Scheduling and Traveling Aide To The First Lady)
17. $45,000 - Lechtenberg, Tyler A. (Associate Director of Correspondence For The First Lady)
18. $43,000 - Tubman, Samanth a (Deputy Associate Director, Social Office)
19. $40,000 - Boswell, Joseph J. (Executive Assistant to the Chief Of Staff to the First Lady)
20. $36,000 - Armbruster, Sally M. (Staff Assistant to the Social Secretary)

There has NEVER been anyone in the White House at any time who has created such an army of staffers whose sole duties are the facilitation of the First Lady's social life. One wonders why she needs so much help, at taxpayer expense. A total farce!

What kind of stupid fucking handle is "liberty", anyway? Why didn't you name yourself Howard Roark or John Galt, moron?

I don't know what the first ladie's staff has to do with Rasmussen...

REINHEITSGEBOT's post will be ignored but for the few who actually click on his link you'll find out Michelle Obama has no more or less people than did Laura Bush or many other First Ladies despite the desperate attempts by the Obamahaters to pretend that the Obamas are taking advantage of the office.

Anything that exposes Obama's behind will be attacked by liberals.

TAKITEZ says "Anything that exposes Obama's behind will be attacked by liberals."

hey Idiot, you don't even know what a liberal is, bet you never met one.

Stay dumb, it's fun to see your posts confirm your ignorance.

Chaircoward is not to be taken seriously. He is an obvious troll. He needs to freshen up his act though.

He's been in a dive since November 2006. Before that he was still a rightwing moonbat, but at least he was occasionally funny and worth reading. Now he's just a bitter old man trying to come to grips with the failure that he adored for 8 years.

Let's take a poll and see if we agree with this poll. Yeah, that will work.

Polls will give you whatever answer you desire if the questions are asked "right". Say what you want about this or any poll, at least they have some numbers to back up their results.

Now, let's talk about the number of "jobs SAVED or created".

Source TPM...as commented by pollster.com!!!

In other words BY NOBODY. A shit article from a highly left site, quoting some ass national journal hard on. As far left as it gets, not worth the cyber space, a waste of electrons.

But taken as fact by the dr left, as gullible as they get!

It takes a lot of help (work)to present her as a 1st lady.

As Poll's go, it depends on where you are in the Poll.... if you are descending, it is wrong... it you are soaring.... it must be right. It is all in the way you think.... hint hint.

An interesting dissection on how the Rasmussen methodology differs from standard polling, in order to create slanted outcomes.

I find it interesting that the questions in most polls are slanted to give a pre-determined answer.

Gee, this is big news. Never heard of competitors ganging up against their competitor.

All he is doing is taking the strongly for and against and measuring it.

zzzzzzzzzzzz

First off: OLD NEWS, this is from last July. Secondly, Rasmussen was right when he said that in August the level of emotion was very important to how constituents interacted with their representatives. Wasn't he?

Lastly, doesn't Rasmussen have a daily tracking poll that includes all respondents? To ignore that is pure political spin.
