So there is no fat in their budget so that have to cut education and hospitals? They forgot to mention police and firemen - that's also in the the usual line to get the sheep to accept higher taxes.

Why not start by cutting governmental salaries? Too obvoius I guess.

Maybe they can sell naming rights to their bridges and tunnels.

Um how about keeping education and health car spending the same and take a CUT to administration salaries?

In 2001/2002, President Bush promised NY $40B in post 9/11 reconstruction funds. We got $20B. Where'd the other $20B go? To build new firehouses in strategically critical southern states.

Actually, I'm not blaming bush, vernon. Congress had much more to do with it.
