Hello Vietnam!

What a revelation....GO BAMA!!!! A day late AND a dollar short.

You Repukes would lambaste Obama no matter what. Your words are about as worthwhile as a used pice of toilet tissue. Same shit different smear.

Larry

"A day late...."

Was sometime between 2002 and 2008.

Larry I posted this not to smear President Obama, I actually think this is a good idea. Either go balls deep or go home. I'm glad he didn't just increase half the recommended levels and fuck everything up completely.

Not You but KBM. Sorry next Time I will try and be more clearer.

Why do they give a disclaimer??

"Reports that President Obama has made a decision about Afghanistan are absolutely false. He has not received final options for his consideration, he has not reviewed those options with his national security team, and he has not made any decisions about resources. Any reports to the contrary are completely untrue and come from uninformed sources."

I hope he makes the right decision and sends more troops.

Did anyone see the mini-teleprompter on the table in front of Obama?

It's sticking up from the table to face him.

lol

That's an EL display, Murphy. Nice try.

Here's a bendable EL display. New technology:

Murphy your paranoia is showing again. No surprise there, however.

How's Sarah? (The best-selling author who didn't write a book)

It's used as a mini teleprompter for the one..

Her book is out the 17th..

"Her" book, right. Don't worry, I will not be buying it, but I'll see what free extracts come up. In fact I feel as if I could quote from it already. I just have to repeat some of your posts, Murphy.

Obama's Afghan Plan: About 40K More Troops

Ha!

Ha ha ha!

Into the blender we go with an incompetent Gen.McChrystal! LOL

These numbers will still be less than half of what the Soviets had.

And look what happened to them!

Do Americans think they are better than the Russians? They must be idiots, then. LOL

Into the blender we go with an incompetent Gen.McChrystal! LOL

Tosser, wait a second there! If they're logisitcal lines are getting creaky; then how come it isn't our responsibility, since their lines of logistics run through Pk?

Its security should be our responsibility, and if we are letting it get run over, isn't it that we should hae foolproof internal security?

Its security should be our responsibility

Why?

It will be our responsibility when we are paid on time.... which we are not.

When America has got outstanding bills of over a billion dollars with us, we sure as hell won't take extra measures to protect their precious supplies. LOL

Why?

Because its inside our own country.

Unless, theres some other thing contingency you can think off.

When America has got outstanding bills of over a billion dollars with us, we sure as hell won't take extra measures to protect their precious supplies. LOL

How come we don't hear about that instead of KLB?

Salman Taseer (supposedly) screamed Fuck at an American reporter.

Unless, theres some other thing contingency you can think off.

Dude, I'm not going to discuss it here on an American website.

The proper place is to open a thread at the Defense Forum.

How come we don't hear about that

We do.

Salman Taseer (supposedly) screamed Fuck at an American reporter.

Big deal. I scream "fuck" at Americans here all the time.

Big deal.

By mailing it through gishpuppy, of course.

You write your mail and paste it on the pop-up and send.

Do Google for other temporary email services... there are plenty more.

Also look up ad-ons for Firefox... that's what I use.

If it weren't for this (and similar services), I would've drowned in an ocean of spam by now. LOL

That I'm sure she wrote all by herself!

......we should walk away from Afghanistan......

......there's nothing to win there.......

...., Karzai is just another tin pot dictator....

.....let the Afghans sort out their own civil war.....

the president will send a lot more troops and plans to keep a large force there, long term.
Peace Prize Material

Yeah, and there are many Conservative sites that are giving the book away for free to anyone that wants it.

Guess they have to do something with all the books they preordered trying to make her book seem relevant to the rest of Americans.

The book is already 69% off and it hasn't even been released yet. You can get the $29 hardcover from Amazon for 9 bucks brand fucking new.

That's just too fucking funny.

One would think all the right wingers complaining about Obama not sending more troops would be all over this thread singing his praises.

This is a stupid plan. Outrageously stupid.

No one can explain what "victory" looks like. We funded the afghani's and taught them how to topple a superpower.(russia)

Afghanistan is one of the top 5 reasons Russian Communism died and their economy collapsed. If we stay there, it's gonna be one of the top 5 reasons American capitalism dies, and our economy collapses.

Why do we have to play with our toys in the sand at every available opportunity? All it does is piss off arabs, create more terrorist, cost tons of money, kill civilians, and our people.

AND FOR WHAT?

What has our foreign policy in Iran gotten us since we put the Shah of Iran in? They hate us, and they're gonna have a nuke soon, if not already. How about Iraq? All that time screwing around helping saddam against Iran, and we 'had' to war there twice against our own munitions because of it. Now we're up for repeating the cycle in Afghanistan, for letting american troops die to weapons we sold off, and die to techniques our CIA taught them? WHY? What a waste of life/resources our dicking around in the Middle East is.

A literal definition of the word Tragedy.

Take Obama's peace prize back.

"Not George W Bush" isn't good enough.

Great post.

All because American Oil Companies covet what they don't have and someone else does. It was that way in Operation Ajax and that is the way it is today in Operation Iraqi Liberation and Afghanistan. Resource Wars in the guise of fighting "bad guys". Unfuckingbelievable sad.

Larry

We, as a nation, can't seem to get behind the push for alternative energy sources, so we have to fight these wars to secure resources, Larry. The fact that some get rich off our wars is just... actually I don't know what to think about that

You know it's disgusting. The Right Wingers always are wanting the 10 Commandments placed inside of courthouses and such yet don't live up to the Thou Shall not Covet commandment therein. They think they are entitled to take from Countries who posess items that they want namely Oil and Natural Gas. Don't we have that stuff here?? I don't get it I really and truly don't. It's their oil their Natural Gas NOT Ours. What gives us the right to declare it be ours???

Larry

Looks like there was an update.

(CBS) Editor's note, 9:57 p.m. EDT: The White House has issued the following response to this story, attributed to White House National Security Advisor James Jones:

"Reports that President Obama has made a decision about Afghanistan are absolutely false. He has not received final options for his consideration, he has not reviewed those options with his national security team, and he has not made any decisions about resources. Any reports to the contrary are completely untrue and come from uninformed sources."

Here's hoping he doesn't prolong this war, and gets us out of there instead.

Crossing fingers toes and well if it was long enough I'd cross that too. Let's hope Obama ends the madness.

Larry

That was yesterday. Today he surrenders.

Today he surrenders.

So he's finally going to keep a campaign promise, we should all rejoice. Except the troops that have to stay and keep dying, of course, with no backup.

But I've said it before - Obama, the piss yellow fuck, is really just trying to straddle the fence again. If he simply leaves the troops there to keep being killed off a few at a time, then eventually there will be no more troops. Win-win for Obama, he didn't pull out, but the troops are still gone. He will think he pleased everyone.
