Drudge Retort: Red Meat for Yellow Dogs

President Obama, extending condolences to Fort Hood, Texas, reminded Americans that people of all faiths and none serve in the military -- an oblique attempt to prevent a backlash against Muslims. "They are Americans of every race, faith and station,” he said. "They are Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers. They are descendants of immigrants, and immigrants themselves. They reflect the diversity that makes this America. But what they share is a patriotism like no other."

ooooh...now I get it. Thanks Chief.

It is not clear exactly how many Muslims serve in the 1.4 million-strong US armed forces, as recruits are not required to state their religion.

According to the Pentagon, there are 3,572 Muslims in active service. However, some Muslims in the military say the real number is as high as 20,000.

The US government has made no secret of the fact that it would like to see more people from Arab and Muslim communities joining the armed forces.

More American Muslim troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan has long been seen as a vital part in helping the US in its missions to win hearts and minds in those countries.

"They are a great asset to the army," Lt Col Nathan Banks, army spokesman for the Pentagon, told the BBC.

They damn sure are!

At least it is diverse

Nice to see Obama advising us all to withhold rushing to judgement ... Ironic that the most notable case of crass judgement-rushing of late has been Obama himself in the Prof. Gates race-baiting case. Too bad Obama's programmers hadn't yet instructed him in the pitfalls of such rookie behavior back then. Just another example of Dear Leader's "Do as I say, not as I do" approach to his reign.

/ Wonder what the Amateur-in-Chief's advice would have been for us all if the shooter had yelled "Accept Jesus as Your Saviour!" prior to opening fire. Perhaps a stern lecture the intolerance of the right.
// After a shout-out to Chief Newport-Light Box of course.

Does anyone even read tosser anymore, what he is like obama here on drudge.

"They are descendants of immigrants, and immigrants themselves. They reflect the diversity that makes this America."

Gee thanks for the 411 Captain Obvious....Err I mean Dear Leader
.

Does anyone even read tosser anymore

Does anyone read YOU anymore, Mr.I-am-aircraft-engineer?

Mr.Namaste? LOL

All fakes get caught in the end, no?

There are nutjobs and ultra religious people in every religion. But sheesh imagine a true zealot reading the Koran. That has some pretty wild imagery in it.

Because everyone forgot until just now when he showered us with his wisdom.

Bush made statements like this several times to protect Muslim-Americans from persecution, including in the days after 9/11. It's not something that ought to be dismissed.

The right will no doubt take this as a sign of weakness and condescending to their born and bred hatred of all people not like themselves and their blood thirsty ancestors.

The right will no doubt take this as a sign of weakness and condescending to their born and bred hatred of all people not like themselves and their blood thirsty ancestors.

I won't, thanks for the broadbrushing though.

Yeah, we wouldn't want to jump to any conclusions like it was another wacko Muslim who saw his martyrdom as a ticket to 72 virgins.

When Obamas' buddy was arrested by that police officer, Obama started his "teaching moment" by reminding us that minorities are arrested out of proportion to their numbers in the population.

Did Obama mention that Muslims go on killing sprees on infidels out of proportion to their numbers in the population?

Hmmm.

COCKRINGMASTER and his ilk make our country strong.

If our government said what we all know - that we are at war with radical Islam - that would be a real sign of weakness.

Instead, we read Miranda rights to battlefield combatants telling them they have the right to remain silent and then we try to extract information from them.

No matter Whatever Faith the members are that have volunteered to serve and defend our Nation in the U.S. Military, they have one sworn duty when entering the military of the U.S.A and that duty is to defend America against any, and every enemy that is hostile, and threatens the safety of our Nation, Constitution, and citizens.

If O'loudmouth the Commander in Chit don't support the soldiers and defend them from tyranny, and terrorists, even inside their own ranks, then he should be Impeached and relieved from his job as Commander in Chit.

Of course a rascially prejudiced commander will apologize to enemy terrorists and allow his troops to be subjected to such racially perverted insanity...

"If O'loudmouth the Commander in Chit don't support the soldiers and defend them from tyranny, and terrorists, even inside their own ranks, then he should be Impeached and relieved from his job as Commander in Chit."

Transfer that feeling to the days after the Oklahoma City bombing. Should the President have made it a call to order against all Christians?

The TRUTH has already come out about this jihadist. Facts-muslim major with a history of radical inet postings, speech, prostelytizing and hatred toward America commits murder motivated by islamic ideology.

Forget about any truth coming out of the Jihadists mouth, because when he wakes up, there will be a CREEPY lawyer waiting at his side. This Jihadist will be coached on what to say from here on out.

Obama is nothing but a fucking piece of shit

# 17 DANFORTH Transfer that feeling to the days after the Oklahoma City bombing. Should the President have made it a call to order against all Christian?

Danforth,
1: first of all McVeigh was not a Christian, and he did not commit an act of terror in the name of Christianity. Do not overlook this point.

A Christian believes in love for neighbor as self, a true christian would never murder. McVeigh as I remember never was a Christian.
No comparrison there.

2: Hansan was a Muslim who observed the Islamic faith. A complete world of difference.

3: McVeigh was not sworn into serving his country Militarily even though he committed a terrorist act. No comparrison there except acts of murder.

4:Hansan was sworn into the U.S.A. Military to defend the U.S.A against all enemies domestic or foreign. He did not honor his sworn oth of allegiance, he planned, premiditated and killed his own troops in cold blood he had sworn to protect.

McVey was tooted on NEWS Headlines as Extremist.
Hansan never has not been tooted as an extremist.

A hell of a lot of difference so you can't drag up the McVeigh case and defend the actions of a different kind of religious terrorist with totally different motovations with the comparrison to defend Hansan because he killed his own troops in the name of his Muslim Islamic god, allah.

Different acts, different motives, different Presidents, there's no way you can compare the two.

And let me bring up another little point. After the Oklahoma City Bombing, the US conducted one of the largest intel operations in the History of this country. A massive effort was made to infiltrate the KKK, militia groups, Neo-nazi groups, etc. So you people crying about any surveilance of muslims, too bad, they brought it on themselves, just like the nazi groups.

If there are indeed around 20,000 muslims in the US military and if one assumes each one of them can take 10-15 men with them when they turn on you... that makes 200,000-300,000 military dead.... the wounded will number far higher.

No wonder, Obama is shitting in his pants. LOL

American military got eaten from the inside....

"Obama is nothing but a fucking piece of shit"

Why do you post the same irrelevant coment on so many different threads?

I'm actually curious...

Why do you post the same irrelevant coment on so many different threads?

Well, maybe it's because he is trying to tell you that all those speeches Obama made to convince the muslim world that "america is the good guy and there is hope and change in the air", were just pure nonsense... just like I had said before.

You can't expect a speech or two to convince "the muslim world" that America means well. You have to take your lousy troops and leave everyone the hell alone, specially now that it is clear you can't do the job in Afghanistan.

THEN it would've been believable. Right now, Obama is just one more liar.

Now I hope he sends more and MORE troops to Afghanistan.

1. Supply line can't support. Quite impossible.

2. Now that Afghan cops (Govt paid) are killing their American and British allies, it should be fun. LOL

3. Now that Karsick is there to stay, yeah, it should be real fun.

4. Let a few more American-Muslims in the oh so Mighty American Army go nutters (because they were being sent to kill other Muslims civilians) and "ventilate" their buddies.

PLEASE send more troops to Afghanistan, Uncle Obama. hahahahahahaha

This afternoon I saw an interview on FOX with the Army Chief of Staff, General Casey.

During the Q&A period, every question and answer centered around Combat Stress and suicides among our military.

Not ONE person addressed the FACT that this was an individual practicing his view of Islamic Jihad.

After the press conference, the cameras went back to Shep Smith at the FOX studios. The first thing he said was, "The question on everyone's mind is, 'Why did he do this?'"

Why? WHY, you ask??

Let me tell you cowards in the media WHY. Hassan was a Muslim Fundamentalist Extremist. He did it to strike fear and grief in the hearts of Americans. He did it to hurt our military and to further the cause of Islam.

He didn't do it because he had PTSD, compassion fatigue or combat stress. He is not your average everyday PVT Joe Snuffy.

He is a TERRORIST. He is a terrorist sympathizer. (As indicated by his internet postings.) He is a Muslim Extremist.

And you damn well know it.

Today I am ashamed of our media. I am ashamed of our President. I am ashamed of our leadership.

Those of you who lack the ability to accept and report the truth of this situation are nothing more than cowards who are terrified of giving offense. You do a disservice to the brave men and women who have been killed and injured in your defense.

Stop insulting the solders by implying that they're all capable of this due to the stress of war. Stop insulting our military by implying that they don't take care of our troops.

Grow a pair and call it what it is - TERRORISM.

Today I am ashamed of our media. I am ashamed of our President. I am ashamed of our leadership.

As the days go by, you will have plenty of reasons to feel further ashamed. LOL

#21-- Thank you Dr. Feelgood-- Obviously, Danforth has a problem with dissociating himself from his rigid thought processes and lack of adequate information to form his inductive conclusions--- I've noticed that in some of his other posts.

Attagirl Catsup. You go, girl!
