Membership in the DAR is restricted to women of 18 or older who can demonstrate a direct lineage back to somebody who played a part in achieving American independence.

In fact, were he female, he would qualify for the DAR through four different ancestors who were American patriots who fought to create the country. I wonder how many Rush Limbaugh or Michelle Malkin or Glenn Beck can claim...

I guess we are all technically Americans ...at least our own ancestery...
