An angry Los Angeles couple allegedly attacked and tortured two loan-modification agents for failing to help save their home. Daniel Weston and Mary Ann Parmelee and three accomplices allegedly lured loan agents Lamond Dean and Gustavo Canez into a Glendale home last week, where they robbed them, held them for hours and beat then with "wooden knuckles," according to police.

Oh geez....
Which is worse?
The shit stained diaper--
or-the used douche-nozzle?

Tie 'em all to chairs-and attach electrodes to their genitals-then let gw dumbshit control the button that shocks them all.....

Charge $300 to shock them with the click of your mouse.

They should ask for a jury trial.

I'd have a hard time finding them guilty.

Roy Batty you are an asshole. I would have no problem finding those bastards guilty. Let them fry. We live in 21st Century in what is supposed to be a civilized country. I have no sympathy for assholes who use the economy as a defense for their vile crimes. Considering that we have 10% unemployment, we as a society need to get tougher on criminals, not excuse their behavior.

Foreclosed Couple Tortures Loan Officers

Dicky Cheney would be proud of the this couple.

At the very end of the article it mentions that they had thousands of dollars in liens going back to 2000. I don't know if they were scamed or not but it is very possible that the mod agents could not do anything because these people had scrwed up too much.

She had declared Chp. 13 so if the house is still in forclosure she is not even keeping up with those payments.

#6--- Tao, I've been following some of your posts and they tend to be of the more liberal bent-- isn't your current post out of character for you or am I wrong?

Due to Member's posting history I almost read this to mean that Member thinks delinquincy is a vile crime.

my car is being repossessed. think i will go rob and beat the crap out of somebody.

What --no waterboarding??

It's not really torture then.

Sincerely,

The Left

"What --no waterboarding? It's not really torture then.
Sincerely, The Left"

As usual, you've got it backwards:

What -- they only waterboarded them? It's not really torture then.
Sincerely, The Right

hope and change? despair and chains.
----the left
net neutrality "one man controlling free speech"
fairness doctrine "elimination of opposing views"
hate crime "mandatory loving of everyone or else"
Acorn (organizing to commit fraud)
stimulus (short term fix/smokescreen by entitlements)
health care reform (free medical for freeloaders anyway you look package it)
the left-inability to curtail entitlement spending
state run media-guarantee left success

thus the despair and chains

I love it!!! This is how you teach people a lesson. That loan mod officer will try his best from here on out because he knows there is real repercussions for his actions.

It's unorthodox but workable.

For me personally, I only consider alchoholism and self mutilation acceptable for 'repossession'. Usually I save 'beating the crap out of someone' for infidelities or other special occassions.

If you can't afford brass knuckles, is it really a surprise when you can't get your loan modified?

I got locked up when I was a youth for assaulting another kid with a pair of knucks.

Brass Knuckles are considered a deadly weapon and you will go to jail. Use a TASER. Still perfectly legal though you may still have sum "splainin" to do.

Due to Taxman's posting history, I know he is a moron.

Member we would only resort to violence if we caught somebody trying to break the union. They would get a warning first though.

At least now they will get housing at the taxpayers expense - separate cells.

Matsop,

I am actualy slightly right of center. However I tend to be liberal on social issues and conservative on economic issues. Not only that but I tend to look at if there was harm caused for breaking a law. I see pretty obvious harm here and while I don't hold the mod agents blameless there is a line and unltimatly you are responsible for the mess your life is in to take it out on a couple of guys who may or may not have been fraudsters (it does not say they are in the story just that the torturers said they were) is not the answer.

"I wish this had happened in Texas so I could whine about it"

Considering that we have 10% unemployment, we as a society need to get tougher on criminals, not excuse their behavior.

Lawls.

Anerica incarcerates at a higher rate than any other nation on the face of the earth and Member thinks getting "tougher" is the solution.

While there is no excuse for these sad sack torture freaks in this article this type of violent acting out in blind rage and despair thing is prolly gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

Another estimated 12 to 16 million more evictions are on the horizon while the sub prime crisis continues to play out.

Spud reckons the next logical step is fer people to start squatting in the huge numbers of foreclosed homes as an act of protest and out of neccessity.

Sometimes massive civil disobedience is the only way to get the government's full attention.

These people who committed this deeply ignorant crime deserve to go to jail for it, of course.

Non-violent protest is one thing but these dipshits are quite another.

Be Well.

" Anerica "

The land one key short of a full board.

"net neutrality "one man controlling free speech"

"net neutrality "one man controlling free speech"--does not know what net neutrality is.

"health care reform (free medical for freeloaders anyway you look package it)"--does not understand the intent of health care reform

"the left-inability to curtail entitlement spending"--lacks sense of history

"state run media-guarantee left success"--confused about language ("state run"), listens to Rush too much, and wasn't paying attention in the first five or six years of the Bush administration

All that said, there are plenty of things to criticize the current administration for. Why don't you try some serious criticisms, rather than drive-by catchphrasing. Never mind being a little bit on topic. (Oops. I'm indulging, so I"m guilty too.)

Seems odd you would make that comment on this thread, knowing they premeditated the robbery and kidnapping. These people deserve to be incarcerated and I hope they are charged with the maximum penalty. I also think we need more jails, judges and juries. I for one am sick and tired of career criminals having charges reduced or pleaded down. How many times did many of those in prison not get caught or get multiple breaks to avoid serious time? Eventually the system catches up.
