No Nancy Pelosi is evil, under her plan millions and millions of Mexican Nationals will not be covered. It should not matter that they are here illegally they should be covered at all costs, along with their relatives and friends still in Mexico. Liberal Democrats have promised that the 1 Trillion plus dollars this plan will cost WILL NOT cause our taxes to go up not one dime so what is the problem it's free

At least 33 states have high risk pools for the uninsurable. I know because I am technically uninsurable since being denied health insurance by every insurance company that I applied to.

The remaining 17 states could follow this example if they wanted to. That's all it would take to solve this problem.

Correct... un insured folks are getting the bulk of healthcare at ERs. The people who suffer are the ones with the "pre existings" Cancer, diseases, afflictions.... No one wants to cover them. and if their parents or spouse has 2 nickels to rub together they likely won't qualify for Medicaid .... until they are bankrupt

I don't have to own a car. If I live in a city with mass transit systems, I probably don't. It's an opt-in system.

If I choose to drive, I have to meet certain requirements. Otherwise, I can walk or ride a bike or take one of the various means of mass transit.

Here in NC our Medicaid recipients are the ones flooding ER's... Guess why - they have to pay a few bucks to see a doc at their office but ER has no copay.

Why is it that people think ER costs drive up healthcare for all, have they never heard of Medicares statistical analysis regional carriers? The use billing data to help determine future medicare rates so providers artificially bill 4X what they think the service is worth to try and drive up reimbursements. Most Ins Co contracts with providers are based of the medicare fee schedules, as are medicaid....

It's not the uninsured driving up costs for the uninsured, its the government driving up costs for everyone...

and do not forget... you are able to shop your insurance from one end of the country to the other for the best deal.
if you were forced to get govt car insurance it would be the same boondoogle that govt health caare will be.
