This is a tragedy. The better your education, the more you have to lose, and the less likely you're going to lose it all for a bunch of militant fucks. If Israel wants to jerk the rug out from under Hamas, perhaps it will allow the Palestinians to live in something other than walled-in, bombed-out ghettos.

Everyone has blood on their hands as a result of these perpetual cycles of reprisal. The bombings were undeserved but they weren't exactly unmotivated. If your desire is to finger-point or see who is ultimately to blame, it's pointless. The cycle of violence has repeated itself to such an extent that every party in the conflict has a long list of things to want retribution for. It tends to be the fate of children from the dysfunctional family of former British colonies.

As it stands now, the situation between Israel and Palestine is set up to breed hatred and set the stage for violence. It has to change for peace to be achieved, and it's infuriating to see people on both sides of the conflict dedicate themseleves to dismantling the peace process. They're traitors to their respective sides in the end.

The last 61 years have more or less put both players "all-in". Someone is going to have to lose unless both decide to stop playing the game.

.....all I'm saying is that if Israel lifts the segregation, the same guys who are launching the rockets from Gaza, will send in the suicide bombers to Israeli buses and restaurants........

......the segregation works in that it is reducing the violence.....it's inhumane in that it is group punishment, but what is the alternative ?........

.....from an impartial perspective......the Palestinians need to renounce violence and use Gandhi-esque strategies, and Israel should remove the West Bank settlements and turn over that land to the Palestinians.......

......however.....with the kind of leadership both sides have.....I don't see it anytime soon......
