I only want to say,
If there is a way,
Take this cup away from me.
For I don't want to taste its poison.
...

Jesus Christ Superstar provided me the last serious connection to faith I ever had. It still connects.

Best wishes, Andrew.

..more from jc superstar. this is my favorite song from this musical.

Then I was inspired
Now I'm sad and tired
After all I've tried for three years
Seems like ninety
Why then am I scared
To finish what I started
What you started
I didn't start it
God thy will is hard
But you hold every card
I will drink your cup of poison
Nail me to your cross and break me
Bleed me, beat me
Kill me, take me now
Before I change my mind

It's God's punishment for Phantom of the Opera 2.

Good luck sir, you've brought great entertainment and more to millions. The only Broadway show I ever say in NY, was Jesus Christ Superstar, probably the greatest show I have ever seen in my entire life.

aww man that sucks.

Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat

I always wished i was pimp enough to pull that coat off. =(

I'm all for him sticking around, if only to forestall a Cats revival.

Hell is getting crowded!

Nothing against Lloyd Webber personally, and I do hope he gets well, but he writes the most vacuous, bombastic music I've ever had the displeasure of hearing, like Muzak on steroids.

Get well, Sir. And then please retire.

why is it more "tragic" when a homo dies? Just wondering.

I like a good non PC joke I give up what's the punch line?

Loved JCSuperstar.
saw the movie dozens of times.
Had tickets to see the play but an old injury kicked up and I had to eat the tickets, fuck

Diablo and the rest

Don't get me wrong,I only want to know

Diablo - you are one sick bastard. I didn't even know the guy was gay - and I certainly don't care what his orientation is. Get over your little obsessions and you might find yourself happier.

Best wishes for recovery... you have touched uncountless people in your great productions... I have had the pleasure of seeing them all and, for one, hope to see you win this battle...!!!

I know 3 wives doesn't mean a thing, but it still challenges the idea that he isn't gay. Poor Diablow has been hoping all his life.

"I know 3 wives doesn't mean a thing,"

See "Rush Limbaugh" and "Tom Leykis".

this one is even less important than dok's history lesson.
