We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose. Barack Obama's thugocracy is dishonest, dangerous, and malicious, but it cannot be stronger than the aroused might of a free people. His foreign policy deliberately debases U.S. interests rightly understood, in an effort to suborn our sovereignty in favor of a United Nations he in turn wants to control. But even on foreign policy, there are certain checks on his power that can be called into play.

"That's what the attack on Rush Limbaugh is all about...."

Because the man is just as pure as the driven snow. So honest, so fair. Always sure of the facts. Never prone to hateful words. Ever.

NANC, Limbaugh cares not whether you praise him or I defame him, or if anyone's distracted by either of us. He's quite well paid for doing what he does in the way he does it.

He's a cynical man who thinks his every waking moment proves how justified cynicism is, because of the largeness of his paycheck.

His primary use as a human being is to provide you with terms such as "thugocracy" without also providing you with the sense of irony your use of it stimulates in sane people.

Let's put a finer point on it---To the extent you really, really do see a "Thugocracy" you HAVE been distracted, you eye is not "on the ball".

You want the Republican Party to be a social club with strict and narrow rules of admission, rather than a successful coaltion of related interests.

That's Limbaugh's view, that's Palin's view, that's your view. Until that changes, all your victories will be strictly local.

Don't forget 'Feminazis'. I hope that pig misplaces his Viagra!

It's appalling the someone like nanc, who wears her christianity like some sort of honor badge, can be so completely clueless as to the meaning of 'bearing false witness'.

Then again a pig like Rush pays for sex. How gross having to sleep with him must it be? Poor hookers.

#5 - "RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)" Go for it!

:+(

It's a tactic. Once you learn to recognize it it's easier to combat.

"WE, the people, get it."

Yeah, most do. You don't drop more approval point in 90 days than any other president in 50 years for nothing.

"You don't drop more approval in 90 days than any other president in 50 years for nothing...."

Predictable and predicted, MATO. Any thinking person knew the polls would decline dramatically at some point for any president elected after Bush. I'm sure Obama knew that.

The country he was given was on life-support in many ways. People continue to hurt. Obama is currently grappling with the strategic choices in places like Afghanistan that, frankly, should have occured when some American soldiers now fighting there were nine or ten years old.

I continue to be amazed at how so many people attempt to eliminate entire historical context in regards to Obama. The man is, in fact, finishing George W. Bush's presidency, pail and mop in hand.

Of interest to me, but still predictable and predicted, is there is no commensurate ground-swell for Republicans as Obama's ratings decline.

Most of this, of course, is because of the bad taste the Republican brand has in the mouths of most persons. That's not going to fade in a mere ten months or a year. I'd predict not in two or four years.

But some portion of it is that Republicans don't really want their Party to grow back enough to retake power (see above posts). You guys throw shit on your own very readily. I wonder when you will stop?

Zed: "Any thinking person knew the polls would decline dramatically at some point for any president elected after Bush."

Yep. Reagan was at 48% right now. Started at 67%. (dropped to 35%)

"I continue to be amazed at how so many people attempt to eliminate entire historical context in regards to Obama. The man is, in fact, finishing George W. Bush's presidency, pail and mop in hand."

And, yep again

I see another connection to Rush Limbaugh here---I was interested in the number of what now must be termed Neo-Republicans who engaged in ritual self-mutilation because Rush was squeezed out of his recent football deal.

No number of sports types coming forward to state this squeeze was absolutely nothing personal, merely business, palliated them.

Because for Neo-Republicans, everything IS personal. They can't elevate even trivial issues (like whether Rush gets a bit richer) beyond the level of their own emotions.

Emotions they then project on everyone and everything else. When other people react with confusion to this and don't flip-out in their turn, that's when the conspiracy tap gets turned on.

People began to get frightened over this furniture chewing years ago. You want political power once again? Then stop it.

We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose.

The persecution complex of some Republicans is really amazing to see. Since when does losing a presidential election mean that you are being bullied and intimidated? "We will not lose." You did lose, chief. And I have some bad news: It has driven you completely insane.

"completely insane"

Rather pathetic to have to watch, though; Terminal cognitive dissonance. And being stuck on the same planet doesn't help, either.

Real Republicans: Teddy Roosevelt; Barry Goldwater ...

At present we have a choice from among what?

We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose.

if ya actually read the article, you DO understand that it's context is that of "the American People" . . . nowhere in the text was Repub mentioned - - -

so in essence you are correct . . the "American People" LOST

Obama has been in "majority power" for nearly 4 yrs - - he & the Dems had majority influence on the - - budget, the economy, & ALL LEGISLATION -
alot of the mess he's mopping is HIS - -

they screwed with the economy to win the Presidency, & it spun out of control - - now they can't figure out what to do except blame others - - bailouts, non-stimulus, crisis central is getting old to Americans real fast

Hell, if we had to have a black Pres, Lebron could'a done better

It was written by a Republican, dude. A bad-loser, sour-grapes, if my side loses the American people lose Republican.

Obama has been in "majority power" for nearly 4 yrs

So Obama was in power for the last three years of Bush's presidency? That makes about as much sense as your comment that LeBron James would've been a better president. Do you think all blacks are interchangeable?

"They screwed with the economy to win the presidency..."

You are an Alex Jones fan, are you not? Have you and he made up your mind whether Obama is a fascist or a Marxist?

Have you and he decided what combination of the Illuminati, Bilderbergers, Masons, and International Jewish Banking Conspiracy is attempting (and almost) has taken over the world?

That's a chair you've got in your mouth, buddy. Stop-Chewing-The-Furniture.

We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose.

We will bring guns to protests to intimidate counter-protesters, we will screech out townhall meetings as bullies, especially if it involves birth certificates, we will not stop lying (see Limburger and the fake dissertation, the hate whitey tapes and, of course, that birther thing)and we will not lose our hatred of all things not Republican enough for our pointy little heads.

a) oops on my math . . make that 3 yrs -
it just seems longer with all the crisis' etc

b) Americans have become politically awakened and aware of the "Alinsky" tactics used against them.

Grandmothers, soccer moms, farmers, truck drivers, etc, who were formerly SLOW to react - - will be more "in your face" as they learn that it only seemed that lefties outnumbered them because they were, obnoxious, lying, intimidating bullies

c) re Lebron: polling says 10% voted for O because of race - - what was that election margin again?

just sayin', Lebron IS TRUE AMERICAN BLACK . . he has street cred, AND a record of having had a tremendous POSITIVE impact on the economy in NE Ohio -
Barry is tankin' North American economy almost single-handedly
